  • Mine is shedding in my hand as I am watching this lol. Eww

  • Yeah...looks like he is stretching his/her skin for shedding. You usually wont see the frogs skin if it is moist, and they normally consume it afterwards.

  • GAHH DUMPS ALLLL OVER THE PLACE

  • Actually from my reading when I got my frog(Indonesian-similar to whites) they change color according to their mood, temperature, surroundings and even stress.

  • @andycottle green is good right?

  • how does the skin come off lol i cunt see it come off do they shed differnt than reptiles

  • ummm yopu might not want to say the word "CUNT"!

  • I never knew they shed skin!? And I've had mine for about ... almost two years now?

  • They tend to turn darker when they're sleeping anyway. And since they don't have eyelids, they just kind of relax their eyes and zone out. Don't worry, frogs are fine!

  • my whites tree frog goes brown at night and his eyes turn black is that ok?

  • Meathead, you mean Sloughing, as in sloughing off skin. And since she said the frog turned darker at night--not "there's skin coming off my frog"--it's not sloughing.

  • oh so glad to know this is normal! my boyfriend just got me a white's as an anniversary present & after just three days i love the lil guy.. glad nothing is wrong, i was actually losing sleep!

  • I saw my frog do this recently. I thought he was sick or something. Good to know what it is and that it's normal. =)

  • WoW!!!!!!
