frogs obviosly shed different from lizards and gecko's. my leo always sheds obviosly eats then continues. i can't even see the skin come offf the frog
Yeah...looks like he is stretching his/her skin for shedding. You usually wont see the frogs skin if it is moist, and they normally consume it afterwards.
Actually from my reading when I got my frog(Indonesian-similar to whites) they change color according to their mood, temperature, surroundings and even stress.
They tend to turn darker when they're sleeping anyway. And since they don't have eyelids, they just kind of relax their eyes and zone out. Don't worry, frogs are fine!
Meathead, you mean Sloughing, as in sloughing off skin. And since she said the frog turned darker at night--not "there's skin coming off my frog"--it's not sloughing.
oh so glad to know this is normal! my boyfriend just got me a white's as an anniversary present & after just three days i love the lil guy.. glad nothing is wrong, i was actually losing sleep!

I saw my frog do this recently. I thought he was sick or something. Good to know what it is and that it's normal. =)
