  • I didn't know that Jack Black played bass in Sky Saxon's band

  • @fucktheutubeusername LOL true

  • This link is for Alex, James, Steve and Paul..."Mr Farmer Let me Harvest Your Crops" Thanks to TK for upload and The Seeds of course!!

  • we miss Sky... but I am sure he his fine now. he surely found his trust and we still can hear him speak to us through his music. Sky was a lovely person and a good boy! have a good ride, man!

  • I do and don't understand why The Seeds were not then chart-toppers and million sellers with all of their now legendary GNP Crescendo Records singles and albums; this was really the only act of its type on the indie label, which could not compete with major distribution, promotion and marketing dollars like, for example, The Doors had with Electra; Sky was simply phenomenal, his Sunlight shone bright on the music world for an exquisite moment. Sky & The Seeds live...love you bunches Sky!

  • We all know how good THE SEEDS were.

  • Mr. Farmer, it was off of their album titled 'Future.' It was their big hippie concept album from 67-68. Sky 'Sunlight' Saxon we miss you!

    420 24/7

Why do you think they called themselves 'The Seeds?"

    -=0=-

  • pictures and designs / a web of sound

    BEST EVER 200% psych

  • I love The Seeds! Especially their song Chocolate River.

  • What is Shebang??? This is the Seeds and Sky Saxon singing.

  • Shebang was a show in the mid 60's that featured the latest in pop and rock music.

  • Groovy 4 Starz Man!

  • That, of course, is Casey Kasem introducing the band. Shebang was a Los Angeles based show that he hosted in the mid 60s. I'd like to see more clips from it. The few I've seen so far are all in color, which was still fairly unusual for local programming at the time.

  • The best in garage sound..

  • aw, man, it's just lip-synched. Oh well, at least there's some footage of them.

  • These local teen shows didn't have the means to record bands live back then. Besides, the bands were promoting a record, and wanted it to sound exactly like what the kids would go out and buy.

  • Classic rock that is underrated.

  • clásicosssss!!
