What he said was that the YMCA stands for Young Men's Christian Association, because when it was first founded it was for young Christian men. Then he mentions the Village People song which came out in the 70s and mentions the YMCA shift away from Christian association to allowing anybody. The (debatable) argument in the other direction is that we are at war with fundamentalist Islam and the building of this mosque will provide aid and comfort to the enemy. I've heard it compared to a Shinto shrine being constructed at Pearl Harbor. I think religion should be reduced to mere opinion of belief.

It may be opinionated, as it is subjective, not objective (according to the supers)

It must remain a hypothesis, not a theory; which is a fact.

It must never be forced onto submission upon others, and it must never interfere with the absolute FACT and education. Fight for freedom of belief, not religion.

But most religions seek to make that subjective matter, objective, even if the evidence contradicts fact or even physics.
