Press and hold millage reset button on speedo for 10 seconds

turn key to on positions (do not start car) and wait 10 seconds (still holding button )

turn off key and release button

Start car ... indicator should be reset

Do you need to turn on the engine or just dash?

and does clearing codes with the engine running is dangerous?

@michael196 when i clear my codes i just turn ignition to dash lights, don't think it matters but to be on the safe side do it on dash

did the codes clear for you, i got the cable and software lastweekend and thea EPC code didn't clear?

@bobnoxious1983 yeah cleared them, best thing to do is clear them, take it for a run then see if it comes back. i had epc on mine would'nt clear, found out it was the brake switch behind brake peddle £7 from eurocarpart
