  • All blacks = forever chokers, I'm sure Joubert received a big cheque for his contribution to the AB winning the 2011 RWC, see you in 2015 .... chokers !!

  • @derpepe100 No. France = forever chokers. Question: How many World Cups have you won?

  • @derpepe100 NZ = 2X cup winners out of three finals.. Not bad. France = 3X finals + 0 wins. And on was in heir back yard...

  • @philippesella France didn't outplay them at all. First half belonged to New Zealand. 2nd the french had the attack...They scored the softest try I've ever seen in a final... It was a game of two halves. But they couldn't manage to get themselves in position for a droppie. ABs played it safe. But France did NOT out play them. Had the attacking edge in the 2nd half but nothing more....

  • @philster611 France never got the opportunity to outplay the All Blacks, because the "referee" was so biased in favour of the home team.

Your statement that the French try was "soft" is one of the less intelligent things to ever appear on Usenet.

Perhaps you might like to watch the game again, this time when you're sober.

  • @Jack72824 HAve watched the game many times since the last post. And I stand by what I said. Sorry if you have a guilt trip over it. Not my problem...

  • @philster611 How about watching it when you're sober some time?

  • @Jack72824 How about you actually watch it.

  • @Jack72824 How about you actually watch it.

  • @philster611 Are you trying to be funny? Don't give up your day job, my friend.

  • @Jack72824 I own my own company.."friend"....

  • @philster611 You own the company? Then you should be able to take some time off and actually watch the match.

  • @Jack72824 as should you. Try not to feel too guilty over winning it..... that's my advise.

  • @philster611 "Guilty about winning the Cup"? The point is that this was a tainted victory, one that possibly (probably?) happened because the referee was so blatantly one-sided and unfair. That taints not only this particular pyrrhic victory, but the whole game. All sports have problems occasionally with corruption, but only rugby has suffered such a display of ineptness/corruption in a showcase final. Not once but twice.

You don't SEEM to get the point, but I think you actually do.

  • @Jack72824 Why don't you actually make a public protest there? Call for a debate with McCaw maybe... Tell every kiwi that you think the cup was won under dubious bias. See how far you get..... Get used to it son. Why not enjoy For Fecks sake

  • @philster611 In fact, every Kiwi who knows anything about rugby knows that the Cup was won with the help of an outrageously biased performance by Mr. Joubert.

If you're honest, you'll concede that the referee refused to do his job and penalise both sides fairly and without favour.

The massive commotion and faux outrage about Rougerie's alleged gouging of McCaw was nothing more than a cynical exercise in diversion.

  • @Jack72824 Oh please lad. The ref penalized the ABs as equally as he penalized the French... Would you prefer we hand the RWC to them and say it was a mistake?

  • A case of Tit for Tat now how does it feel?? we have always been the team that is disadvantage by the refs and to be on the other side is such a good feeling.2007 foward pass by a froggie to score that winning try against us,what goes around comes around i guess. So take it on the chin we never whinged or complaint we blamed ourselves for that lost not the ref.

  • @01TIAH Slight difference between a marginal forward pass and a litany of penalties not awarded. NZ had 10 mins to score a try or drop goal in 2007 but no one stepped up to the plate.

  • @01TIAH Your comment is nonsense. You need to watch the tape of the match again.

After that, you can watch the 2007 QF. You'll see that the All Blacks scored from a forward pass (McAlister's try) and so did the Tricolors (Jauzion).

But I'm sure you won't let the facts get in the way of your silly statements.

  • All blacks are good but they are not abble to win a match with pressure, exept when the referee is with them!!! What a shameful victory for this world cup! (and I'm not french!!)

  • @brudev75 well you must be a one twat like most of the other ALL BLACK haters on here... there was more pressure to win the semi against ozzie that was the true final. both teams in final got away with a lot but only one team got away with the most dirtiest and disgraceful things that can be done on a rugby pitch. Richie McCaw is the best #7 in the world he may have slowed but he still the best and so are the ALL BLACKS. have a look with both eyes open and u will see

  • @pkrpolska don't say the true final was against australia!!! it was easier for you to beat them!! 20-6 is not 8-7, you are lucky because it's just one point, and above all, if the referee wasn't Mr Joubert, it would be 10-7 for France. Please watch the match again with a neutral eye, you will see the huge number of faults Joubert didn't gave in favour of France, every body know (except guys from new zealand) he wanted all blacks to win because they played at home.

  • @brudev75 Same is said for 2007. 17 unpunished infringements against NZ by the French...... NZ got screwed by Barnes.. and the French weren't squeaky clean. Check out the eye gouge on McCaw. This match was a tale of two halves. So the french didn't have the upper hand. Yea sure had they landed their penalty then they would've had 10 points. Had Weepu landed his then NZ wouldv'e had even more

  • @philster611 "17 unpunished infringements" in 2007? You're delusional.

The French defenders in that game were scrupulous in their adherence to the law. Barnes made two errors in that game---both forward passes, leading to McAlister's try and Jauzion's try.

There is simply no comparison between that referee's honest mistakes and the deliberate decision by the non-referee Joubert to allow the All Blacks to cheat at will.

You need to go back and WATCH that 2007 match.

    Off you go now.

  • @Jack72824 "referee's honest mistakes" Now there's a contradiction.... We can apply the same to Joubert. And I have viewed that match several times in the last month..... The French were frequently offside during the second half..... And an absolute blatant forward passes missed one of which led to the French winning.

sorry but its been evened out now.... The ABs deserved to win and win they did......Not their fault if France can't win their own world cup.....

    off you go

  • @philster611 I don't believe you've watched that 2007 match. I have, however, and like anybody else who has, I recognize that the French team was scrupulous in making sure it did nothing to draw a penalty.

Your continued insistence that Barnes's performance was on the same calibre as Joubert's non-performance simply confirms my suspicion that you are not serious.

Show some moral courage and acknowledge that France was cheated of its rightful victory. We'll still believe you're a fan---honest.

  • @Jack72824 Don't really care what you believe. I viewed the 2007 QF and straight after I viewed the 2011 final. The french were offside continuously.....Barnes didn't penalize....... Joubert overlooked some infringements as well.... how about you polish your glasses and see for your self. NZ was cheated out far more than France were....how about acknowledging that.....

  • @philster611 You're a fantasist. I wouldn't call you an All black fan because your "support" is blind support.

If you are serious when you compare Barnes's (flawed) refereeing to Joubert's blatant bias, then you are incompetent to comment on the game at any level, leave alone a World Cup final.

I am a New Zealander and like many other NZers I am deeply upset that this non-referee has tarnished this victory. If you had any sportsmanship in you, you would acknowledge what you KNOW is true.

  • @Jack72824 You don't remember when the ABs won the RWC in 87 son.....you were 2 years old.... I do. I was at Eden park that day..... I also remember watching the All Blacks during the 1970s playing . I got to see greats like Grant Batty. Ian Kirkpatrick, Grizz Wylie in their prime.......I remember watching greats like Chris Laidlaw, Super Sid Going work his magic with ball in hand........Brian Williams, now there was a wing...... I saw my first All Black test in 1971.

  • @Jack72824 To date I have met and socialised with at least 40 ex All Blacks.... Even introduced Sean Fitzie to my Norwegian Girlfriend who had no idea who he was.... Hell, I'm even closely related to a current one...I was an All Blacks fan before you were an idea in your dads scrotum lad..... You are of a generation of fans who is has no sense of history of the All Blacks...Since your a New Zealander(like myself) I will not Ad Hom or insult.... you but son... It doesn't matter... we won

  • @Jack72824 And I have viewed the final (again) just half an hour ago..... Joubert missed maybe two dubious head high tackles that were in their(French) own half, had a penalty been awarded, it is likely it wouldnt've made any difference, Both teams spent more time in the centre of the field during the second half and not much in either 22......... I'm not sure what game you saw.......But Barnes reffing was crap compared to Joubert.. Perhaps you think we should hand the cup to the French?

  • @Jack72824 this is a brilliant comment, and I as a rugby fan appreciate what you're saying. I've admired both NZ and france for years but I have to say France were tucked up and robbed in this game. I like NZ rugby bit I despise the power they wield in the IRB.

  • @brudev75 your channel says country= france

  • Comment: "The NZer is on the ground and not rolling away." Well, he wasn't rolling away because at the time he was being head-butted and eye-gouged. You're looking at it with one eye -- which is about as many as McCaw nearly had after Rougerie was finished with him. Take an unbiased look and see all the penalty offences that NZ weren't given either.
