@wadoman699 No metal detecting permitted i am afraid, this is a protected site. All ancient sites are protected in the UK by law, metal detecting is quite restricted in this country. Glad you enjoyed the video!
@wadoman699 Yes i have been thinking about it for sometime now. I have a collection of Neolithic and bronze age flint arrowheads circa 5000-2000 BC, which i could use for a video. I purchased these rather than finding them though. Will have to give it some thought...
@graemefield01 Check my videos of American indian artifacts that I have collected here in Iowa. Been a good year. Hope you decide to post. Though all ancient sites are protected by UK law, I notice that many Americans go there to detect. They must go to private property sites, I suppose.
Great video! I love seeing those ancient sites in England, particularly the Neolithic ones. Are you permitted to metal detect on that Roman site?
