I wish Myles Kennedy could make a DVD about singing and vocals for everybody. Even for the very low beginner who doesn't know the ways of singing amazingly like me!

tbh i think, and i don't want to contradict mark here, but myles should stick to sing more and concentrate more on guitar. on the amsterdame dvd (Which is GREAT), myles does not sing one line of either verse in come to life, and his licks in find the real pretty much get vapourised by marks. I dont know whether its just him, but i think myles without a guitar on him is much better than the myles with a guitar on him.
Wow man Mark is awsome, it's great to hear him say something like that about Myles, being the newest guy in the bunch and he even said greatest Rock Singer on the planet, which I'm sure he'd narrow down to just singer if asked again. I don't think Alter Bridge as a whole gets enough attention, mostly Marks playing is what everyone talks about, which is amazing, but Brian tears up the bass and scott has more beats in one song than some drummers use all CD. Anyways two great guitarists, great clip
nice piece man. i've met myles a couple of times and he's the most humbe, down to earth guy ever. i was shaking when i met him and he totally calmed me down by just answering questions i had. lol actually, i asked him how it felt to be the best singer in the world. his response, "yeah, right." that says it all.
lol seriously he said that? He doesn't realize how good he is! The man can sing most out of their job if he tried lol. Yeah that's one of the many things I enjoy about Alter Bridge is his singing, I love how he can go higher higher higher higher when holding a note, then when you think he's going back down, he goes higher again! You just sit there going, 'Damn that man can sing!' I hope to one day meet Myles and the band that would be sweet!
nice. i would love to meet him sometime. he's one of my favorite singers and musicians, and certainly one of the best. and hate to ask this, btw, but how tall is he?? haha, it's just this stupid bet i had with some friend, but would be helpful if you told me that
Your'e very right. The bass player is great, the drummer kicks ass and uses all of his drum kit lol. Not only Myles and Mark make Alter Bridge people.
myles' lesson is great... he covers some important theory that i think a lot of guitarists ignore. most know what scales fit over a chord progression (mainly just which scales are in key), but they don't know anything about when or where to use the notes in these scales. every note has a harmonic relation to the chord it's played over, and this relation determines the "feel" the note has when played over that specific chord. this is something that blues and jazz players are good with.
