I've never really been very partial to this song, probably I found it too overly sentimental, and this is the first time I've warmed to it. What a superb interpretation. To me, this composition lives in my heart and is equal to any composition ever written. It is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein, It's Louis Armstrong & Ella on "Summertime" It's J.R.R. Tolkien in the Hobbit and Homer at his best in "The Iliad"

Connie Talbot is a young girl with a very nice voice, but Emily Bear, to me, is in a different class completely.

Actually she played it twice first in Rockford then 2 weeks latter in Champaign, Ill I was at the Rockford concert and she was brilliant and I understand she was even better in Champaign. The concert itself is to long to put on you tube and I won't break it up but I do have one of the encores on you tube... Oh and it is Mozart's 23rd piano concerto K488 she played from memory.
