I think Pridgen is big on chops but his musicality doesn't always flow. Just in my opinion, he is more of a licks drummer than a musician.

As a beginner, just try this. bass drum on the one, left hand trip-let, bass drum on two, (repeat)left hand trip-let , bass on 3, left hand is trip of 3, and crash/bass on 4.

Jojo is originally a swing/latin/blues player. search for "emily remler switzerland" and you can see him playing in the 1980s. It is interesting how in the late 1980s and early 1990s he sort of evoluted as a player with technlology

a small carpet  is a drummer essential... Maybe even marked with drum/stand placement for quick and consistant setup.... This is not the work of a pro drum tech....

First of all Jojo is probably one of the most nasty drum and bass drummers in the world. Second of all, I wouldnt be surprised if i heard that Jojo shoved not one but both of his sticks up the drum techs ass. Like what the fuck was that man. The tech definately had his head up his ass when he was setting up that kit. Jojo did not deserve that.

what u just said is very arguable and although Jojo is one of my fav drummers, i dissagree with his moeller method just because when i used it i seemed to sweat a lot more and normal buddy rich style seems more efficient to me

The drum tech is there so that the artist, who has been flying all over and staying in hotels etc, can perform at their best and not worry about gear falling apart. I've seen it happen and it's ugly.

Someone of Mr. Mayer's caliber should not have to deal with a bass drum running away on him. However, as any true performer knows, the show must go on and he did what he could and still burned that kit up.

Hi..great drummers Benny and Stanton. I guess your agree about there are just to many great cats out there name top 3....why not top 20 :) but I have to say Kirk Covington/Trible Tech, and Bill Stewart, and now I have choosen tree differnt styles...but...there are so many great drummers out there that I love.

(Steve Smith, Brian Blade, Dennis Chambers, Toss Pan, Jeff Hamilton, Audun Kleive, Stanton More, Josh Freese...and the list goes on and on..:)
