Your "soul" will enter frostmourne, and you will have to fight off the spirits already trapped within. They serve the lich king now. And then i guess your soul will be released. I would hope, but as Sylvanas/Jaina said, "Do not touch the blade, or your soul will be scared forever". So....sorry tanks, sucks to have to eat the damage inflicted by Frostmourne...

hmm, it could be that you enter frostmourne and fight frostmourne(transformed into something e.g a dragon) and once you defeat it the sword shatters...the lich king loses his power then and you are able to beat him..that could be how you win :O

nope, true stuff apparently, the original idea was to make WoW and then 9 expansions for it. more or less putting to rest everything in warcraft lore that has been unexplained in the warcraft games, and then adding some ore lore to it to smooth it out. think of it this way, wow is only warcraft 4 in a different game format. =]

My theory since this area is called Frostmourne this room holds the souls The Lich King catures probably at some point of the fight you will go in there and i would expect Arthas as a paladin locked in there and they may also tie in Bolvars fate as well. Only a theory.

I just hope Blizzard won´t make the same to Lich King that they did to Illidan.. setting W3: Frozen Throne´s heroes as mere bosses was somewhat sad thing. No, if they would set an end to Warcraft (Lich King dead allies & horde in peace blah blah) then many player would quit since they would have nothing to achieve anymore. Or maybe it´s the purpose since cataclysm is about destroying the old world? In that case, are they gonna get the World Tree -scene (W3) repeated? I´d hope so..
