I liked the main storyline, but the other planets were kind of a let down. There was so much potential for the exploration of planets within the galaxy, but only a small minority can even be landed on, and then it's for the most part incredibly briefly. When you CAN land on an uncharted world, it is usually pretty stunning, but many of the complexes would be underground or inside buildings, and I kind of wish more planets could be travelled to.

I played through ME1 at least four times, and it is one of my favourite games. I played through ME2 only once, and have no desire to play it again. They removed everything I loved about the first game, and replaced it with resource-mining. Not to mention that I knew the story from the beginning; gather followers, earn their loyalty, and then defeat the collectors. It felt like Bioware was pandering to the shooter-players, and ignoring their original fanbase.

Just beat this yesterday, and did all the dlc expansions. I will have to say that I've never been more indulged in a game, ever, in my 20+ years of gaming. Story is better than Mass effect and the ending is just pure insane awesome. If you aren't won over by my comment yet, play the game and see for yourself....You will be sucked in for 40+ hours, as I was....Good luck and happy gaming!

Mass Effect 2 is much better than zelda. I'm not saying zelda is a bad game, i'm just saying you can't compare it to ME 2. Mass Effect 2 is probably the most shopisticated and subtle games ever made, thus far, and it never gets old. Thats something you can't say about zelda. Mass Effect 2 is the perfect game and an unforgetable adventure I hope all gamers and nongamers alike can experiance. Don't pass this one up, its more than just a game, its a fantasy come to life.

@KevinM8392 You can't really compare two great games from two different genres and say which one is better. Both games have different goals in mind and they accomplish those goals in different ways. Mass Effect definitely has a better story than Zelda but the story has never been a huge part of the Zelda franchise. Zelda has much better dungeons than Mass Effect but dungeons are not a huge part of the Mass Effect franchise. In the end it all comes down to personal preference.

I havent seen any facts that bioware was thinking about puting mass effect on the ps3. Only PS3 fan boys spreading rumores threw out the net. and yes the ps3 version of dragon age did get slightly better reviews (More polished graphics) Does not mean the same case if mass effect does get released to the ps3. Bioware worked hard to keep mass effect 2 the same as much as posible on the 360 and pc. only true diffrence between the two is the control lay out.

It was because of the PS3's original price which made it unappealing which caused more players to buy a 360. Which also caused Devs to focus on the larger player base.

Besides, the 360 even though it has more games, alot of them are utter shit.

Blu-ray allows them to put more data on a disc, which is why most of their games have only ONE disc instead of ME2 which has 2 because the double-layered discs were unavailable to the 360.

Why? Bioware took pretty much EVERY complaint about Mass Effect and either improved or discarded those features in Mass Effect 2.
