If common man dont understand that inst strange but when a famous racedriver doesnt have the feeling then I get surprised. Look at my vids when Im driftin I mostly use the sideforces that comes in the bend. I only use the throttle to avoid understeer...

You guys also have to remember that compared to other cars that drive in conditions like this is that they are also heavier, so the combination of the revs, the low ride height, it all makes a difference on how the car preforms, a formula one car was not designed to race on ice.

You guys havn't got a clue! It's a 19,000 rpm engine revving at about 6,000 with a rev limiter. It work exactly the same as T.C but you don't get any slip through the diff and or gearbox and wheels, thus tonnes of grip! The spiked tyres help too.

RWD is hot a problem. Lack of diffs is not a problem too. Ford Escort RS2000 is good example.

The only problem of F1 cars on ice/snow/gravel is low ride height. But on flat surface (frozen lake) it's not a problem.

Stiff suspension? It's not a big problem.

Too much power? Driver like Heidfeld can control that.
