OMG..I just finished watching this scene....im still recovering from tears...that whole last episode with all the kids just sort of brought a sadness as to how they were dealing with all of the crazy shit,and sort of a send off into the real world....then I'm going to have to deal with the fact if Sid & Cassie EVER found each other -_-

I'm pretty sure he seen her. He quickly looks from the window to her picture, I'm assuming because he seen that she was turned away from him so he "compared" her to the picture, know what I mean? There's no way he didn't find her, because he stayed in NYC with no return ticket. He found her eventually. I wish I could see their reunion though, that would've been a powerful scene.

I don't think he found her. I think they meet later in the future when they're old and decrepit, which would completely match with the "Time to Pretend" theme. I know that's sad, but that's life, and Skins is real life. I'm so glad this show existed because it didn't sugar code things like that. In some shows e.g. NYPD Blue, DVD from season 5 onwards were never produced (same issues). It is a real pity. Preferred the original tracks.

I heard this song (Time To Pretend by MGMT) on the radio today and could not figure out why it made me so inexplicably happy. Then I remembered it was from Skins!

Anyway, I thought the ending was great. Unlike Inception, it left me happy and at peace with not knowing what happened at the end. (I'm still supremely pissed at Christopher Nolan)

With the traveling thing... I visited the UK last year and had no problem getting back to the US. We got a little card mid-flight where we filled out that information. Honestly, all you need to fly back is a passport and a boarding pass.

i love how they ended it with effy in tony's bed doing her raising eyebrow that she always does when talking to someone =) it was a good way to end the show, knowing that the next season would be a new group because it gave us all a way to see it as, "Now it's time to see how me and my friends are" you know? lol

I just realised Effy's final scene is a reversal of the opening of the pilot episode ("Tony"), which starts with a close up of Tony's face as he's lying in that bed then zooms out. So ending the season by zooming in on Effy in the same bed is a nice mirror image foreshadowing thing.

Even thought I'm disappointed we're getting a different cast next season, I'm glad that the show is letting the characters move on with their lives. Maxxie is pursuing his dream of dancing, Tony and Michelle are both at their dream university, Cassie and Sid are together in New York, and it would be hard to imagine everyone together still without Chris. Everyone wanted out of Bristol and they all achieved it. This is a good end for the characters.
