  • i payed $7,400 but my insurance company payed $4000

  • *for

  • Well, my doctor said you should never take them off the more times you take it off the more time it takes fo ryour teeth to straiten

  • is it worth it ?

  • Yup, first two days after getting braces feels like hell!!!!!

  • too expensive! payment plans???? WOW.

  • wow only 4,000 ? that's cheap !

  • 4000 :0

  • @tootncoco Well check out her recent vids. They DO work. So don't lie hoe.

  • mine cost $5200 and with original braces it would be $4800 idk about you but i wouldnt mind paying $400 more for invisalign =)

  • I have this, she explains it perfectly, this is what its like!! Finally someone who understands! xD

  • i have invisalign too. will you please agree to marry me now?

    i'm being serious!

  • They DONT Work , I've Tried Them

  • Paying to look perfect?

  • I know how you feel! I have a removeable brace, it has a plate and then clips on to m teeth I have to eachwith my molars too!! ;) but it helps our teet for when your older and give an excellent smile x

  • heyyy, U look so sweet, I'm sure your are sweet:D Btw: I love your videos!!

  • Damn you Americans have to pay for everything LOL. Here in England we get ours for free, although we have to pay to see the dentists

  • Mine are going to be $4,300 but my insurance pays for $1,000 of that so its going to be $3,300 that ill have to pay in payments over 12 months

  • How much was it

  • are you a filipina?:)

  • do you have on a shirt

  • Comment removed

  • They're also called retainers. You wear them after you've had train-track braces to stop the teeth moving back again.

  • hi, thanks for uploading this video. my teeth are straights and all but i have gaps I've always loved them but now I'm 22 i want to get braces or the invisalign =] let's see how it goes.

  • I also have Invisalign and i agree with everything you mentioned in your video. The first week was the most painful ever!!! ive had mine for about a year and a half and ive seen a HUGE change! It is a pain to take them off for snacks, but i am so happy with the way my teeth have turned out and am glad to not have wires all over my mouth as well :)

  • Braces feel the same but they also hurt when you eat :( its sucks. But your teeth have gotten SOOOOO straight since this video :)

  • I just looked at your most recent video and I am amazed on how much your teeth have changed!! Even if didn't get Invisalign your teeth are great. I was thinking about getting invisalign but I am very inpatient so I am just getting teeth bonding lol.

  • OMG huge difference!!!

  • Your teeth look amazing now, such a huge difference. I totally wanna give these a try :)

  • we were at a party and my cousin threw her retainer away, lol

  • pfsh surgery, greedy bastards

  • I doubt You need surgery. That's how they make their money.

  • how old u need to know to have them

  • Why does it cost 4 grand to wear a piece of plastic?

  • @ForeverMegaBeauty Because you have to pay for the software that creates the path way your teeth need to go to be straight. You have to pay for the materials to create the new trays every 2 weeks. Also the fee to see the dentist.

  • @ForeverMegaBeauty Because that piece of plastic straightens your naturally crooked teeth?

  • @ForeverMegaBeauty braces cost that much too

  • Each orthodontist will tell you different. My orthodontist said invisilign is actually better than braces because they are less painful and quicker. So it all depends on who you see and how experienced they are.

  • you can see my invisliline

  • are the buttons on your teeth forever?

  • @DoofasGurl102 nope :P :)

  • Checkout the new Invisalign Community - everything invisalign teen .com

  • omg, mine wasn't invasign, it reg, 2 yrs for only 1700 cash total. slight overbite. in 1998. and i lost my retainer a few yrs later, and then back to crooked tooth bec. i never went back to get retainer, and then 2010 i got the back on for exact same price. I rather save money and go with the reg. braces than invasilign, omg that is pricey. But i wore it twice, almost like paying 4g.

  • Does wearing Invisalign require removal of wisdom teeth. I don't know much about teeth but my cousin got braces and the doctor removed his wisdom teeth

  • @ElTri92 Almost all teeth straightening procedures require the removal of wisdom teeth since wisdom teeth impact all over your teeth when they erupt.

  • about $8000 in australia bloody expensive! but worth it i think. I'm getting them yay!

  • for me it costs 5560 for 2 yrs and a half insurance does not cover for me

  • My teeth are crooked in the same spot as yours. I want to get invisialign but it's just not in my budget right now. It's cool to know it's working well for you though! :)

  • PHILIPPINES <3 xx

  • PHILIPPINES!! pinoy represent!! =]] im slightly jealous of invisalign glad you posted this i like the perspective

  • Do you know if Medicaid would cover them? I don't think it's likely that it would, but if you know, I'd really like to know, thanks!

  • Braces didnt work for me invisalign is so much better i have just my retainer on the bottom and two trays to go on top i never had much pain or discomfort ... i get mine through my dentist not an orthodontist ... my dentist said invisalign can get your teeth just as straight as braces .... invisalign has been great!!!

  • My teeth were like tht 2 I just had one tooth tht was in the back like u, but my braces corrected tht...

  • oh yeah i see it too how your lower jaw is a lot more to the saide then your upper jaw.

  • UGHH i have to wear one now after having braces, but they call it my retainer and they only came out with invisaline after my braces. And they hurt soooo much, worse than braces. Its like constant pressure on your teeth -_-

  • @maarrryyyyy why they give you invisalign after your braces? i only know one other person who got that afterwards. I just got my braces off too, and i have a retainer. my retainer didnt hurt at all actually too. So you probably wouldve been better off with a retainer :p

  • @FanofApawk18 well i didnt really get a choice, they just gave them to me, and i have to wear them every night for the rest of my life :(

  • @maarrryyyyy oh that sucks. :/ they shouldve asked you what you wanted. but maybe they wanted to try it on you.. i have to wait 6 months before i can just wear my retainer at night.

  • I used to have an underbite and got jaw surgery. Honestly, I have to say it wasn't worth the money, but atleast I don't have that hideous underbite anymore.

  • @meggiemeg86 I had an overbite, and i know people who have had an overbite. I was suppose to get jaw surgery but they told me they would try braces first and rubberbands to pull back my jaw, and it worked really really really amazing. my jaw is like perfect now. Im very glad i didnt have to go through all that money for jaw surgery plus getting braces afterwards, i know people with overbites who have done the samething as me.

  • I got braces in January and the first week was extremely painful!

  • will the teeth go back how it was.. once the teeth are straight?

  • @UniicornKiid No i think you get retainers to wear at night - you can get a certain type by Invisalign which is meant to be more comfortable as it's very similar to the Invisalign braces so you would be more used to it :) I think lol!

  • how much were they?

  • braces are so hot

  • Does she have to wear them at night???

  • @TheEpicFail79 you have to wear them at night-part of the min. 22 hrs

  • after ur done, they take the bumpy thingys out, right?

  • @TheNewJul Yeah of course =p they are just there cause some teeth need to move more than others

  • if your in the Chicago area and u want invisaligns,Chicago smile design is the place to go..they'll work with u on the price and they're SUPER nice!!!

  • just put my 8th tray n today. I have10 left for the top and 4 for the bottom.....my bottom teeth r already straight so I really don't need the other ones. i'm super excited bcuz I've noticed a dramatic change. and paid 4000 as well.

  • you mentioned that you need jaw surgery....whats the reason? because i have a few problems with my jaw and i wounder if i need surgery.

  • i wanted invisalign but my friend had it and i just seemed really gross her invisalign would always get spit all in it and it cracks really easy

  • When you brush your teeth and aligners, do you use two different toothbrushes ?

  • I was going to get invisalign (I don't need braces though) and it was going to be cheaper than braces.

  • @LiLGiRLYxo21 Invisalign are braces - clear braces.

  • are invisilign quicker or braces do you knwo?

  • what's the point of jaw surgery? is it necessary? please respond I'm trying to convince my ma not to put me thru the hell of braces lol

  • Jaw surgery is very expensive! I'm wearing braces almost 2 yrs now and my problem is same as you are.

  • i see what ur doctor means by needing jaw surgery i believe it is because your jaw leans to one side more when you talk and it can be fixed but its exteremly expensive, were learning about it at my dental school

  • How much were they after insurance?

  • @bmp1091 Most of the time insurance doesn't cover invisalign for adults!

  • @bmp1091 3700 for me... insurance only covered 5% of the overall cost. I'm doing invisalign "express", too.

  • Haha - about putting your Invasalign in a towel, and people almost throwing it out?

    - My aunt totally did that to mine! Haha. :) But mine is not Invisalign, it's the follow-up treatment after braces, and something that will hold my teeth back. :)

  • do you have to take it off to eat ?

  • i got my invisalign yesturday and my next visit is oon june 17 but i cant go cuz i have to go to the philippines and i will finsh my treatment on september 7 but now in the middle of september i have 35 trays on the top and bottom soo many and i have alot of attachments they have to put on but after i come back from the philippines i have like 14 or 13

  • had invisilgn in the past now on my retainers they wrk... and the lisp goes away after u stop using them or when u remove them.

  • I have a lisp because of my invisalign... how do I get rid of it?

  • Hehehe. I ALSO had few times I wrapped my trays into napkins while I was out eating and I tossed it out or left it on the table thinking it was garbage. *slaps forehead* =) Oh I paid $4600 and I had my invisalign for over 2 years when my case is 1 year only. Talk about laziness and being forgetful! hahah =D

  • putting them in a napkin while eating with other people? wow, that is disgusting! I always make a trip to the bathroom and take care of it there. if you forget your container, then just find some way to hide your invisalign from the table.

  • You couldve got braces put behind your teeth..

  • Invisalign results Cary greatly because it really depends in how often you wear it where as braces it's always working 24/7 for X amount if months. Just like retainers after it really depends on how often someone wears them.

  • Just get normal braces. Maybe they don't look as good, but they definitely do the job better. Braces prices all depend on how bad your teeth are. Overpaying for continuous clear retainers is bs.

  • i just got mine on three days ago and i already got my buttons on, i got seven of them. my dentist said 9.5 months till im done =]

  • invisalign= rip off

    braces= better bet

  • i've always wanted braces, but my parents could never afford them.. they range from $4500 - $8000.. and my teeth are absolutely horrible, so i'm guessing it would be more on the pricier end :(

  • @boredat4am apply for medicaid (:

  • @LAYDEEYASMIN i've never heard of that before? i live in australia. i don't think they have that here! :(

  • @boredat4am aw/: to apply for medicaid you have to be making little money or something & some other stuff.. & if you are accepted, like my mom was, your dental & clinic visits are free. & medicaid pays for braces too.

  • @boredat4am im sorry too/: i live in the US..maybe thats why..

  • @LAYDEEYASMIN ohh, all right! thanks for replying anyway! :)

  • @boredat4am Medicaid is the only insurance that does NOT cover invisalign. However, check online for some orthodontists offices. Offices are very aware of how pricey they are and being that many people have insurance that do NOT cover invisalign, many offices offer INCREDIBLE discounts. Discounts that can be as low as $500 down payment and monthly payments (depending on how long you have to keep your invisalign)... I have invisalign and that is how I paid for mine.

  • I got braces on monday. Really dont think they hurt that much O.O Ive already seen a difference and its only been 3 days :3 I think invisaligns are a cool idea but i prefer going full on metal mouth :L:L but thats just me xD

  • The day I got my braces on...I curled up on the couch and cried. All I wanted was pain pills, and just wanted to sleep. It hurts so bad. I would compare what you said the invisalign feels like to the way my retainer felt like for the first couple of days of wearing it.

  • had braces 7 yrs ago. having braces for the 1st time hurts real bad. can't eat or chew for a few days. can only drink water & soup only. it felt like my teeth were going to fall out of my gum. it was crazy but it's worth it. My braces cost 3g & had them on for 2yrs. i pd a monthly of $74. my dental insurance cover half of $3000 which was awesome. after having braces taken off, i had jawbone popping which can dislocate my jawbone. my dentist dr gave me nightguard. it stopped the jawbone popping.

  • ive had braces for almost a year and a half now and they recommended me to have jaw surgery too but i think everyone gets that recommendation lol. i turned it down, the braces caused enough pain haha.

  • does anyone know how much are braces?

  • @yazzi562 it really depends on how much work has to be done and for how long. mine are 4000 and i have to wear them for 2 1/2 years.

  • I wear retainers when I sleep. Its the same consept, its to keep the teeth straight. I had braces twice.. And I don't regret it!

  • I don't use invisalign, but I do have a retainer and I think they are made of the same material.... just a suggestion, but I give my retainer a quick shake in peroxide after I brush it. kills the germs so well, and helps to get rid of the yellowing that comes from wearing it all the time

  • Hey guys, I have a question...I'm really insecure about my teeth and I feel like I need braces. But the problem is my family has no dental insurance. Yet, my mom is willing to do whatever to get them for me. But I'm going on to my Junior year of High School, and there's so much stuff I really want to do like be the lead in my school play, and go to Prom and I don't want braces in the photos. Should I get braces now or wait until I can pay for Invisalign?

  • @XOXOviv you can pay the braces or invisalign in payements, i pay 300 a month for my braces. if the braces is your main concern than go for invisalign but you have to make sure you wear them EVERY day

  • Can't people see it, when you have it on? :) I have to sleep with one, after I had taken my braces off, and I would really hate it if I had to wear in public.

  • the doctor was trying to milk you

  • what is the point of jaw surgery?

  • I usually soak mine in some whitening listerine when i take them out to eat. My denstist says i can take them for 4 hrs a day but sometimes I can't sleep with them lol.

  • theyre more comparable to retainers than braces

  • Nice video :) ....After that long one month wait period after impressions, I'm finally picking up my aligners on the 24th of Feb! We'll both have nice teeth in a year ;)

  • Braces hurt a lot too. The first time I got them in I could barely bite on anything. And every couple of weeks when I got them tightened, it hurt a lot as well :(

  • I need jaw surgery too :(

  • I have those for my boottom teeth. Yes, it did hurt!

  • around how much do they cost???

  • @chiquitona84 she already said that

  • @chiquitona84 Hmm.. I'm not quite sure; she mentioned the cost at 5:00

  • @chiquitona84 $3500 - $6500 , depending on how long you need them, and what you need to do to your teeth

  • @chiquitona84 my invisalign treatment costs 6500$ same price as if I would have opted for braces.

  • @chiquitona84 Hey! I wear invisalign, and I have a overbite of 95% and mild gapping. and mine cost 7,000$. After insurance it was 6,000. But i had a Groupon which also subtracted another 1,000. SO it came down to about 5,000. :)

  • @chiquitona84 She said in the video around 4,000

  • @chiquitona84

mines where around 5,000 it depends

  • those look like my retainers that im supposed to wear but don't lol...i had braces for like a year and they weren't bad at all...so worth it and didn't have any bad side effects whatsoever

  • @Katherinexx10 Omg same here. But my bottom one is shorter, it doesn't cover all my teeth, its weird. Do you also have that annoying metal bar behind your teeth....i don't know what its called. That thing that you cant remove it's like glued there.

  • @chelsholt13 i had that bar too! get it removed! all it does it build up plaque....i told my dentist and they took it off and gave me a bottom invisalign type retainer for the bottom too.

  • @Katherinexx10 Thanks, ill get it removed then haha. :)

  • braces are even worse..lol, my braces hurt for a full week, not to mention the canker sores that form too

  • i thought your title was i hate invisiline

  • i had a metal brace and in england invisalign is called a retainer which you have after the metal brace to keep your teeth in place :) lol!

  • I really wanna try this.

  • I had braces for 2 years, and when I had them taken off, I was given Invisalign to keep my teeth in place. Luckily, I only have to wear them at night, but I feel they are really ugly, especially when I take them out.

I perfered my train tracks more.

But I guess everyone thinks of them differently.

P.S. You are a beautiful women Judy!

  • To keep mine fresh, I like clean it with mouthwash and water and sometimes without the water. =)

  • I've been watching your videos for a videos for a long time now and I started noticing a change actually for a few videos now. I thought I was tweaking and just losing my mind until this video. I did notice a difference in your mouth, gosh that sounds so weird. But good luck with your journey! <3

  • Please show your support and VOTE for myself & my best friend in a COMPETITION. You have to be a Facebook member to be able to vote - all you have to do is follow the link which is under my uploaded video and press "Like" under the photo. It will only take a few seconds to do. The competition closes tomorrow, so the more support - the better! We really do appreciate it, thankyou :-) xx

  • you should do your overall experience once its over because i was considering invisiline too

  • hey judy its not like butons, its lke a braket for regular braces but they are put on with composite material(white fillng material) mached with your own tooth color.

  • i'm thinking about trying invisiline. how much? i bet its a real good way to lose the last couple of ponds before an big event. lol

  • I finished my invisaligne about a month ago, and I loved it! It was super fast and simple. I didn't even wear it for an entire year. lol.

  • omg i have to wear brazers in 2 months but now i saw your video and wow!! i dont have to wear ugly shit brazers!!!i had so much fear!!! wow thanks very much!!!!!!!

  • Awe, your next appointment is on Valentines day.

  • I have traditional braces on the inside of my teeth (lingual braces), it's even more invisible than invisalign lol and half the price of invisalign!! BEST!

  • how much was invisalign? my teeth is spaced i wanted to tighten it.

  • They now have ceramic braces they are much more comfortable in ur mouth. Plus!! They are nearly tooth colored so they aren't as noticeable as the metal kind. Highly recommend them. The system they used on me was gac innovation c

  • you cld have gotten lingual braces. on the back side of the teeth . and man invisalign is costly lol. i wanted it for my gap but it looks like i shld just get veneers

  • $4000 r u jokinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn omg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a slight overbite on my top teeth, was thinkin bout invisalign to correct this, but not anymore !!!

do u know anythin else i could do ??xxxxxxxxx

  • I had invisalign for about a year, my doctor recommended them for me. I did everything the doc told me...spent about 4 thousand dollars. I got terrible results and I was terribly upset so I had to get the metal braces. Most people first choice are invisalign, clear braces people hardly notice. I'm so glad I got traditional braces, the results are amazing. I don't recommend invisalign if you have an under bite , the doctor will try to convince you that you need surgery to fix...Metal braces FTW!

  • When you 'train track' braces it feels like someone is pushing your teeth back really hard and it feels like they're huge in your mouth, but after a few days it all goes away. And it's gonna take you 1-2 hours to get the buttons on!? It only took around 30-45mins to get my train tracks in.

  • can you do a video on sunblock and must haves when going to a humid hot place like the pi.. looks like you didn't get too tan nor get tan lines!

  • theres this thing called Bonding and it's really cheap at least in canada, and it's like caps on your teeth but they don't have to shave your teeth down they just go on top and there realllyyy easy and it's a one time thing.

  • i heard you can do the same if you heat up a mouth guard and get new mouth guards every couple weeks - a month

  • Little offensive to people with braces saying u dont like the look of them!

No offence.. Love the videos! :) x

  • Re: Jaw surgery.... that's a VERY COMMON mistake that so many dentists make. Is it because your bite is off? Your jaw clicks? ... TMJ? You need to get your bite fixed and not go through surgery. I'm in the same boat right now. I've seen 2 dentists already and started inquiring with another who told me I needed invisalign. HELLO?? I have straight teeth. I don't need invisalign to fix my problem. Get a second or third opinion. Jaw surgery will mask the problem and not fix it.

  • I had invisalign before and I didn't like it. It was painful and I would always go to the dentist every couple of weeks. It is too much of a hassle. Sometimes I would be embarrassed because of the lisp that I had and the concern of the bad breath. I really didn't follow the process because I was to lazy and embarrassed to use it. I wish I had it again and fully commit to it.

  • Braces are better . Caused it's pain would wear off after a few days and they are much faster

  • they're exactly like my retainers!

i haven't worn then since i first got my braces off, but it feels exactly the same when i try to use them again - painful. ahahah

  • How much is it if you want to make an invisilign?

  • i think they have braces where the braces are behind the teeth..i would've gotten that but they didn't have it at the time i got mine..i might need to re-straighten my teeth tho.

  • thats called invisalign? They gave me that as my retainer after my braces... haha did not enjoy them.

  • Are you back from the Philippines yet?

  • Judy, you have a nice smile already! but now youre gonna have a beautiful smile! :) <3

  • Hey Judy. I was wondering, what's the name of your orthodontists office? I live in Bellevue and I'm trying to get some estimates or quotes from different orthodontist offices to see how much it would be to get braces or invisilign. Thanks!!

  • They look like my retainers :)

  • braces may not look nice when you have them, but they do make the teeth straighter. i got it done when i was a teen and all i had was a slight overbite - that took 2 years! 6 yrs have passed and my teeth are still very straight. after the braces i was given what looked like invisalign to maintain shape. even though the orthodontist may tell you that you don't need to wear them anymore, i still wear them every once in a while (once a week, overnight) since your teeth do move from eating

  • 4,000???? O.O

that's what u pay here in Mexico to start buying a new car! haha no way... D:

  • I've had braces for 18 months and mine cost $3,900. My teeth look pretty straight now.. just a couple months to go :]

  • I got braces when I was 25. I think the pain is worth it in the end. I'm sure that the pain between braces and invisalign is very comparable. I remember being on a soft diet for my first few months. It gets easier!! :) Good luck in your journey to a straight smile. BTW... there is a forum that I used to go to all the time to read about other adults in braces. There was a lot of gr
