  • Let It Be....

  • cars and roads are going to destroy your country and then we will not come anymore.Dynamiting roads through one of the most sacred and special places in the world is sacriledge.

  • Nepal Tourism Year 2011

PROSPECTS An important milestone for Nepali tourism which began modestly in the 50s 400,000 tourists from India and China are expected to visit Nepal Pvt sector has invested over Rs 500 m in upgrading its infrastructure Chance to refurbish Nepal's image as a safe destination CONCERNS NTY's int'l promo yet to kick off The national flag carrier's fleet expansion plans are uncertain Only structural bottlenecks The possibility of a political crisis is a major concern.....

  • @ghisan1 : one blunder is - "Nepal is celebrating " Nepal Tourism Year 201 1" not " Visit Nepal.......)

  • we tourists in Nepal, are tired of IMIGRATION DEPARTAMENT in Kathmandu by Taking bribe of Us everytime when we go there take visa in many times they accuse us to be illegally in Nepal if dont pay them BRIBE, no one can Help us! we are very SAD by IMIGRATION DEPTO of KTM, They are very corrupted and shameless in truth WE TOURISTS of many Nationalits are Tired to try help this Nation - IF SOME LEADER OF NEPAL READ THIS PLEASE HELP US!

  • @NEWIDEIAS if i was leader i would surely help u....i feel bad for that and ya many stupid people are ruining every beauty of Nepal that's why i came to USA don't worry i promise i am gonna do something better after my study, for helping Nepal to improve its condition

  • the pictures are real nice but you ruined it by false description LIKE its a snow leopard not a Jaguar ...many spelling mistakes like its spelled ANTELOPE ...not ANTILOPE and many more unnecessary description on pictures......otherwise the pictures are great.

  • I am sorry to say but this can't be the official vedio for visit nepal 2011, Pictures are beautiful but not satisfied the way it is presented.

  • the video is not so much to regard official plz i mean it just pic slide show is not enough also night life and modern things need to be presented good try anyway nepal is good hope we all find good and nice direction one day leading our country where all people live happily

  • Yeh I agreed that you have named the place wrong in the video..its patan darbar and u named as bhaktapur darbaar square

  • Our Country is poor no doubt, but we are rich in Natural Beauty and Nepalese heart is pure. No doubt few among us might have lost the way but inside we are not corrupted...Our leaders are somewhere misguided but we are sure they will find a way and help us in saving our nation. Once again Nepal will be known with the same wordings-lets all say together it sounds more good..' Sundar Santa Bisha l, Desh Hamro Nepal' .

  • This is for tourists who wants to visit nepal and wants to know little bit about the meaning of nepal.

the term nepal starts from 4th BCE. before that, the himalayas region was known as "kiratdesh"

Secondly the term "nepal" came from kirati word "nepala". the kirati meaning of nepala is "yo bhumi afai bolchha"("the land says itself" )

watch this documatary --> "Origin of the term "Nepal"

And yes visit nepal, forget about the modern world, worries, stress and have a great time.

  • one of the photo is named incorrect that is patan durbar square i think that picture is of bhaktapur durbar square. can u please correct it thank you n this video is awesome m so pleased to see this video m so amazed that nepal has such a beautiful n mesmerizing scenery n views.

  • @bwek007 Buddha was born in Nepal. He came to Kathmandu valley during King Jitedasti. King Jitedasti was a 7th King from Kirat dynasty. And yeah Ashoka never ruled Nepal because Kirat at that time were very strong. Kirat only succumbed to Licchavis in around 330AD during King Gasti who was 29th Kirat King.
