Holla! Have you considered the intellectus money maker (just google it)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy made a ton of money it.

i never knew about that sword brothers thing i need to get money to buy a duplicator then duplicate heart refresh then do a glitch to get to the saturn version deleted area at the beginning to get 200.8 rite now mine is 199.4 damn close!

Just another note that if you go to the bottom left part of the catacombs( is that what it called?) There is the room where you get $1000 from the candle every time you hit it. Just convert to Acid Cloud (you'll want this cause the skeletons with the guns will keep knocking you back otherwise) to kill all the enemies and have the candle drop $1000.  It literally takes 8 - 10 seconds to go back and forth in there and keep collecting the $1000.

@ProfessorJason The Colosseum is where that room is at. And you can do it much quicker if you equip a shield and Crissigrim, hold down your shield button, and just run through slashing everything. That works pretty quickly. It keeps your shield up for protection from the bullets while still slashing. Faster than running back and forth for the $2k bag.

I beleive this is the easiest way to do it: pressing down, then rolling the directional pad 180 degrees forwards and holding it for a while once it reaches up, and then suddenly press down and attack at the same time

@paperbuddha Clear your system cache and play offline otherwise you'll have to update & the glitch will be fixed again. Once you have the money you can play online. =]

That candle in method II is in the same spot in the normal castle, too.

It just requires the leap stone, clever use of the boat-lifting platforms, and of course, the holy snorkle... err I mean holy symbol...

theres only so many iteims that you can buy, or even want to buy, and by the time you get sword brothers or heck even get to inverted castle, you have them :c not to mention you can find most if not all items by enemys

unless you don't like to cheat... then yes... it's pretty obvious... what the vid doesn't show though is there's a closer door/room to the right of that 2k in method 2 so don't have to jump back up and drop down etc. just walk left to right and repeat. I didn't know of method 1 untill JUST now so I did method 2 BUT with jeweled sword.

be better to say down attack stead of x. on ps1 it's better to press square or circle is what I mean. this is also easier spell to do if you use shield hand(I use circle for shield) or that sword(crissagrim?) that doesn't make you stop when you hit attack so can keep moving. This way if you fail your not pausing after each fail(sorry it just got annoying to meal trying to cast soul steal or this and I have to wait till my sword attack goes away...)

for some reason my Dualshock 2 controller wont work, when i say this i mean that the analog sticks wont work, but all the other buttons work....when i turn my ps2 on the red light doesent come on so i turn the analog switch on and it wont work....is this my ps2 or that this ps1 game wont work with a Dualshock 2......(i no that ps1 games will run with a Dualshock 2, becuase i have Driver 1 for it and the analog sticks work)...

this game was released in 1997, so the analogs won't work on this because they weren't invented then....

there's a place in the castle where it's very high up, you have to jump platform to platform to eventually get into a room that is a big long hallway to get to Olrox boss, ok, instead of jumping the plats, simply fall, head the same direction(you know you are in the right BIG room if where you fell to there is a fountain that eventually poors blood) and at the bottom left enter this room instead. Jump to the ceiling or cast soul steal and at some point part of the ceiling will break. Enter, cg.

Method 1 seems better. But there's also another way to get money, pretty easily.. I requires some work though. But I don't like to cheat.. D:

Get a jewel sword, (either from secret area at merman place, or from a Discus Lord) then go to Arena, the most south-eastern room, with many blade skeletons, and hack through them many times to get jewels.. That's how I got 500,000 in about an hour..

The 1000 bag in the catacombs is faster then Method 2 because it takes 7 seconds to get 1000 with the wing smash and exit the room, repeat. The 2000 bag is too far and takes too long.

as long as you have the correct arrow combination and time it right you should get it eventually

its a glitch, if you cast sword brothers spell you can get to your inventory w/ the menu up, if you equip the ring while in the menu theres somthing about the values glitching and it sets the value to 255, which is the largest ## of a single byte, giving you 255 rings of whatever type you use
