the point of this long boring vid was to show that despite the looks and close lug design of the rc4wd dirt grabbers that they were capable of going thru slippery mud,There was a big argument on a scale forum that theses tires were gonna suck in mud,I recived one of the first sets to be tested.Bottom line they handled mud great for the scale design.I was pleased.
Water and rigs dont mix,as long as you keep the electrics dry and clean asap after the water/mud run it will cause long term damag
there is a difference between trail and crawler ^^ but do you think that going into water causes risks? i mean I drove a little bit without problems but I couldnt trust for some more :/
Axial stock esc in the scx10 in not water proof. U can make it water proof by coting the circut board with ruberized sealer but this voids the warenty. Thier is a video on utube that shows u how.
they sure arent water proof mine has the traxxas brushhless velinion system in it which is but it took a good couple submergings in a ditch to get the stock reciver to shit the bed on me
i'm thinking of getting those dirt grabbers for my oncoming car project because of their scale looks, do you know if they can handle nitro speeds? like 30+mph?
It looks pretty stock to me.... Other than the body.
I own 2, & they may not say they're waterproof on the package, but they can handle some water/moisture.... Trust me, I know. Stock electronics & motors in both of mine still, & absolutely no problems as of yet.
As long as the body stays outta the water, it's fine (at least mine have been)
how do you make it water proof

Is the scx10 rtr fully water and splashproof? I'm either getting this or the wraith, I'm leaning more towards the wraith

not so good for mud but good good for rocks and scale looks ! :)

For a stock scaler this is good. Dont compare it to other things people. The vid is about the tires and the stock SCX10 and how they do. 5*

That thing is a piece of shit how can you call that a crawler, it hardly crawls I mean the tires are way to small to go over anything.
