I used to live in NYC, never saw anything like that. Five years ago I moved to NJ. 3 years ago, during the summer on 3 Sunday afteroons, was driving up the turnpike and hit severe rain and huge hail...looked like conditions riope for a tornado, luckily none ever materialized.

Big dick, that shit was crazy. I was in the Murry Building at BMCC on the 111th floor. The sky was black as night, then it turned green. I didn't even know it was a tornado until I got home.

im from queens and it hit hard here as well. it got so dark and the rain hit and ppl couldn't even walk. sooo much traffic was by my area til' 11pm... that was fun tho. scary @ the same time. =0)

Like I said I was just sitting in my apartment office when I saw a crazy bank of clouds and thunder/lightning moving quickly towards me. I turned on the news and was shocked that there was a tornado warning for Brooklyn! It came so fast I had no time to leave or prepare, then just as fast as it came, it left. Still shocked, wow.

Damn. My family and I was attending a funeral when this happened. Got off the B15 at Lafayette walking to Marcus Garvey when this shit happened in an instant. My glasses blew off. We were all soaked. The rain hit my face like hail. We was lucky to run in the nearest supermarket.
