What is up with you people? This crap started happening to me in 3rd grade. Thats what I love abou this movie. This tuff is realy what happens to middle schoolers. Im 11 and Ive seen worse cases then this!

She had theft,assault,avading arrest, and terroristic threat. They sent her to rehab and she jumped out of a 2 story building and escaped it and lived with dopeheads for weeks untill she was caught. Just 13 years old. :/

evie's promiscuous, bc her uncle raped her.
and self-destructive, bc of abuse. her caretakers sucked. like the uncle who pushed her into the fire. you can see the scar in the scene tracy puts lotion on her back.
bc they might as well wanted her dead, evie wanted to die too. evie reckless behavior is really her trying to suicide.
evie loved tracy & wanted to be saved.

i feel tracy was hurt (divorce, mom not listening to her pleas about her boyfriend) and that frustration combined with evie led her to cut herself.
also her old friends, i did not see them as that close to her, or as that "good" of friends, i feel many of them were just as shallow/naive. she didn't do the right thing, but where were they when she was tumbling?
i think she was lonely.
i wonder if she saw evie, cool & glamorous, as a friend she always wanted, and to escape her feelings.
