Subaru has developed the best all wheel drive system for the STi, and EVO only has speed to match its lack in handeling, and as for the genere of the cars, handling is what matters.

@aidune The STI has a lot of understeer when you drive it like a front wheel drive. You flick it properly and it'll properly oversteer. Don't forget the STI is engineered for all weather and all surfaces. It sure as hell doesn't understeer on my backroads.

I have beaten evos, and evos have beaten me. Stock for stock the STi is slightly quicker, however the evo takes nicely to mods, they are quicker than sti's modded (mod for mod). Traded my sti for an 07 335i coupe, But i am a subie fan at heart.

you cant really drive an evo,then diss a sti,or the other way around.they were both built as direct competitirs for each other,and both are very equal in stock form,although the sti's tend to get a bit more of an edge.straight up acceleration figures do not always mean one car is better than the other,there are many factors..but in the end,i personally prefer subarus.

Our cars are nearly identical in performance mods!
