To be honest, I haven't cleaned my G19 in about 1200 rounds, it does just fine, still smooth as butter and not a single FTE/FTF or even a hickup. Unlike my Keltec, get through 100 rounds and it starts FTE/FTF once every 4 or 5 rounds, haha.
@SpamSpammity Says the guy who films toads and dogs and yells while he is recording. Haha.
If you think you can do better, with no tripod, no helper, a crappy kodak P&S camera, indoors, t night, with flourescent lightings, and lastly, while filming something that requires two hands, please, feel free to do so and show me your supreme spur-of-the-moment film-making skills.
I dare you.
In the mean time, go troll elsewhere, any replies other than a supreme video will be laughed at.
Nice video. I'm picking one of these up tomorrow. What magazine are you using? Or is that just an extension? It looks like the perfect length. The stock magazine leaves the grip a bit short for my taste.
It's a factory glock mag, I can't recall, it's a 15 round mag I believe, but it has a little grip extension that makes it super easy to get your pinkie on there for better grip.
dude i just bought a glock 26 havent shot it yet or anything and i cant fieldstrip it !! i am getting soooooooooooooo fuckin pissed !!! my levers wont go down !! its hard as hell to get them both down at the same time on my gun, but everyone else makes it look easy as hell!! some with one hand and shit.. grrrrrr i about to go crazy
the trick is pulling the slide back a bit with one of your hands, not a lot, but just enough (like half a millimeter) to take the tension off of the catch. Then you should be able to pull (or push) the two tabs down. As soon as they're down enough, just let the slide go, it's not gunna shoot across the room or anything, but it'll go a few inches forward.
Thanks man. Yeah, I just assume that the trigger is pulled in the process of field stripping, you know, pop the mag out, take the round out of the chamber, look, make sure there isn't anything in the barrel or action, let the slide pop closed, pull the trigger, and the gun is now safe.
It's become such habit that I questioned if I had even done it.
That thing is bone stock as far as internals, it's got Trijicon night sites, those rock, and a cool little belt clip that bolts to the back of the slide, and runs along the right hand side of the gun up past the ejector port, perfect for concealing. Those are the only two mods to the gun itself.
great video, great job. and i also hav a glock 26 its ALOT OF FUN! my friends and i go mess around in my backyard. i live in new york state and i hav a 10 acre property. my dad is a handgun professional and has taught me everything i no. again great little reveiw.
Ah yes, now I remember. Off to go clean my Glock 26!

Hey... great video. One thing i would add for people who might not know is that they have to pull the trigger before field stripping
