The victims, in most socities, are almost always girls or women. The perpertrator is almost always men, rarely women. Our society does not do enought to fight against this occurance. Men, think long and hard as to why it is you are frequently the perpetrators. I encourage all women to stand taller, stand together, and demand to be respected as valuable members of society, not objectified and victimized by men. I feel for the plight of so many girls/women who have suffered at the hands of men.
The is such a sad story of such a beautiful and innocent girl. No one should have this happen to them or their families. Her brother must be devistated even today. She had such a good future coming for her. Now JonBenet will never have a boyfriend, get married have a child or go to a prom. Who ever did such a terrible crime took that all away from her.
