  • This is where my Cuz lives i visited about a month after this

  • i drove 3 hours that day trying to get to guitar center

  • June 7th was my birthday and I couldn't have my party becuz of the flood. :(

  • but, you came to mine.

  • if you get near that water and swim in it you can die because of the bactirea

  • really?

  • yea i know some one that lost his eye because he had a scratch in his eye then he jumped in the water and then his eyes where all red and nasty

  • There is so much work to be done. If you have even a few hours to give, a few dollars, cleaning supplies, clothing, food or prayers, please register with United Way on 13th Street as a volunteer.

The work will be ongoing. It's NOT over. Ask your church what THEY are doing, ban with friends to help. We are neighbors. This is OUR TOWN, whether you were affected or not.

i was lucky too, but those i love, not so much. Please find out where you can help. It will take ALL of us.

    God Bless♥♥♥

  • I heard somebody in the background say, "Hey Jetho, get the boat. We is gonna catch us some catfish."

  • yes and you are an asshole.

  • pdawalt, And you obviously have no sense of humor at all. Wow, what a sad and depressing life you must have.

  • Go down there drive around and then make some jokes. We are not all hillbillies in Indiana.

  • It IS a sad and depressing life just now.

Many of those affected have lost hope, are in shock, grieving and lost.We have had deaths, people are out of work and a once beautiful town is struggling to recover from the worst flood we have seen since 1913.

The smell of mold, the standing water and insects, the work that never ends are too much for most of us, too much to bear alone.

We will never be quite the same.

You're right.Today nothing is funny. i don't think you would be laughing either.

  • thx for posting... I lived in columbus for 5 yrs. I've been hearing stories but didn't imagine it to be that bad. It's devastating.

  • my dad is in charge of heavy duty at plant one, he said the entire basement was under water. it was ridiculous.

i left columbus a half hour before it hit and seymour an hour and a half before the next day

  • Man, you guys are in my prayers

  • Awful, I was stuck on the east side of town and work at Plant 1.

  • I'm down stream on the White...they say the crest around here will be around 30 foot

  • i thought they built 46 up so it won't flood well, they were wrong

  • that's unreal

  • This is devasting a lot of hard work down the drain.

  • Thanks for this video. I live in OH and my daughter lives in Columbus IN and works for Cummins in their main office. She told me by phone, but seeing the devastation first hand is amazing. Thanks again.....

  • End of times.

  • I drove through on 65 south at about 7pm. Hope everyone is alright down there and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  • I live on the north side of town, so luckily my house was fine. I knew a lot of people that had damage though. I worked at the tech center until about 3 weeks ago. Now I work at COB thank goodness.

  • yeah what makes it worse is that that tornado went through just a couple days before...

  • i used to live on the next street over, on sixth street.

  • The damage is devastating isn't it? My friend lives down the street from the boat.

  • whose your friend?

  • She lives in the brown house across from the furniture building. Closer to 5 points than 7th Street.

  • I got some pics of the damage today. I work at Cummins, but thankfully in the GOB, so I at least have work to go back to.
