For one; Bad posture. Two; NEVER take any wheels off the floor when your going backwards unless it is the back to on the foot you are crossing over with. Also your not going that fast and i dont care if your going faster than other people your still going EXTREMELY slow!
Just so you all know, this was a demonstration video intended to show the MOST BASIC requirement of what advanced backwards skating is. Obviously there is a whole range of Advanced and my usual style is much more advanced than this. Duh! The idea was, IF you want to participate in advance backwards skate, this is the MINIMUM you should be able to do! :)
Hmm.. I don't know.. I can go backwards. I have a better style than you and I cross both feet over during turns and I don't bend over that much.. That wasn't very fast.. BUT all your other vids kick ass! :D Love em
i hate it when the really slow people go into advanced and then you have to dodge them and they like, wobble when the line of the fast skaters past them. LOL
Well, not so sure about that. I specialize in going way fast backwards in a crowd on a Friday or Saturday night with only the disco lights on. Weaving in and out without hitting anyone. (I can't video tape that though...my dad would have a fit!) Older people (over 20) usually can't keep up...so I would have to see it to believe it :) Upload an example!
Ok, ill upload a vid of me backwards at my local rink (ice though) bet i can own you backwards on my roller hockey skates too. I want to see a video of you going backwards faster too.

i can do all of that at my rink
and i go faster to
i can go faster backwards then most of the ppl there
im pretty advanced
i would take a vid bt i tried it and its to dark at my skating rink
(not to offend anybody)
