wow, I wish I could have been there... and I wish about 500 more people and a professional translator could have been there too.

I mean... it's Aya Hisakawa. Sailor Mercury is only one of her many great roles... and it sounds like there's an audience there of the size I'd expect for maybe the English voice actors for some lesser known anime.

But oh well, stuff happens, panels don't always turn out as expected... glad to see they all made the best of it

oof... just did some research and it appears this is the one time Aya has come to an American convention. I wonder why this happened at Animazement and not one of the larger ones. I hope this didn't turn her off from ever coming back again.

I see that Kotono Mitsuishi also went to a later Animazement... how the heck are they attracting the top Japanese voice talents? And Keiko (Luna) has been coming nearly every year. Must have been cool to see Usagi and Luna together there.

Niiyama Shiho, the voice actress for star fighter/seiya died in 2000. Check it out sometime. Leukemia took out our beloved fighter. ;-(
