SLRG bought a couple domes from Alaska to increase passenger comfort. There' much better riding than the other cars, although they look a bit funky behind steam. During 2008, they ran a train from La Veta to Alamosa and return which normally only need 1 car. They will add freight if there's anything ready to go west.
Thanks for posting this railroad needs alot of videos I wish I could find more it is a very intersting line I hope I can get up there sometime this summer.

Yes, its a ten dollar upgradeto sit in the dome rather than coach, children are 33 dollars and you are allowed to move from car to car
