Your lessons on using the pentatonic scales are very illuminating!!!! In one of your lessons emailed to me, you mentioned that the amazing Sharay Reed uses pentatonics in his runs. Can you do a breakdown of what he is playing in the videos that you included in you email?
You mentioned in the previous of the series that the lick was stolen from Pino. Funny thing is that this lick is played during the break of Cee Lo's "Forget You," which I believe he played on as well. ( I know that he did the album, just not sure about the track) Incredibly useful, as ever. Keep up the tremendous work, it is greatly appreciated here in the woodshed.
I had no more space left on my former message. Just wanted to let you know that I will donate and I wish for you that many others will too because it's very important that guys like you get support helping all of us to become better bass players. Many thanks
Hi Scott, I really appreciate your lessons even though i've been playing for some time you definitely discuss some topics that can do with some recap in my bass technology. I just discovered your lessons and subscribed immediately. However, one thing keeps going on in my mind: what is this about the gloves? And i'm sure i'm not the only one wondering about this. Will you give some feedback on this. For the rest, many thanks for your work and your lessons. Very much appreciated.
Hey Scott why do you use those black gloves? No, I'm only joking. Great lesson as per usual :) and as for those questions I guess you can appreciate new viewers :)
Hi Scott! Great job as always! I'm not as fast as I'd like to be on the application, but I do find it helpful to think about what the root key of the progression is. In other words, we have A minor, going up a half-step to Bb major and then a whole step to C maj. What fits for me is to consider the Ami is the third, Bb maj is the fourth, and then C maj is the fifth in the key of F major. This would let me know that A Phyrigian, F Lydian, and C Mixolydian would work in creating the lines. Thanks!
@KlevonOfJesup Hey man thanks for checking out the tutorial. Yeah you're totally right those modes would work, but if I was treating both the major chords as major 7ths it wouldn't. The tune I stole this progression from does have the major chords as major 7ths so they don't all fit within one key center, for instance F major. I can't remeber the name of the tune... gimme a bit and I'll see if I can remeber so you can take a listen. Ez man. S.
@dengsiao Hey man thanks for letting me know. It's weird... I've had a few guys say that the levels are wrong... but on my speakers the levels are fine. I'm a little confused... I'll take a look into it and see what I can find out. Thanks for letting me know man. Ez, S.
@ThisIsChapman & XxicruffesionalxX - Scott wears the glove as he suffers from Focal Dystonia (a condition that affects the nerve endings in his hands)

Hi Scott, you are a great teacher but i can't hardly hear what you are saying.
Your voice is to low vs the volume of the bass.
