You do not have to press the clutch everytime you change gears. Try rev matching and then change gears without pressing the clutch.

question where was the camera mounted? The angle shot has it looking mostly through the windsceen with the top cutoff right in the line of vision. This would bother me so just wondering if you have the camera mounted on the helmet or somewhere lower.

@fb4004 @fb4004 Hey, I was using the Chest mount from GoPro.

I think it provides a really good perspective for filming on a motorcycle. The helmet mount provides too much movement and this allows all the instrumentation to be in view as well.

I test drove this bike today. This bike has tonnnns of acceleration. Definitely way too much fun. So much power and torque!

@os9198 im not kidding do the math ur self the speedometer ive seen for this model in Km went up to 320 and capped off at 310 cuz of the computer 310 km converted into Miles is almost 193 MPH

I tossed my leg over one at the dealership and chatted with the sales rep for about 15 minutes while sitting on it. very comfy compared to my 07 ZZR600 (which is actually not bad itself compared to the torture racks I used to ride). I think this bike would make a pretty stable and comfortable commuter. The question is, how does it hold up with the pure-breds in the twisties?

Look again. There's only one analog dial on the panel, and it's a big ol' tach. Speedo is digital. And yes, it is bad that you want to upgrade already. You should start with something smaller, cheaper, and slower. Your body and wallet will likely thank you for it.

@abendroth85 lol ya i saw the tach right after i posted it when i looked closer, so its actually got a great gauge cluster. stupid me ! but ya i would be getting something a little more beginner friendly its just i think that one looks like a great upgrade to the 650r that i was looking at buying soon when it starts to feel under powered and im making more money of course lol but thanks!

I am a big proponent of getting some standard bikes in the US market. They make 'em they just dont sell them here. If you want a big bore inline four standard what choice do we have? Not much. The ninja 1000 should be a big seller and compliments the z1000 well. Thanks Kawasaki.

@Rangerscott69 I thought the ride was really comfortable ride. Like all sport bikes the mirrors were a bit tight.
