  • beautiful shot

  • @metalpriest420 Thanks!

  • @dogsgowoof Thanks! Hope you get one soon.

  • You're the man Cubby. Maybe I'll run into you on the course some day!

  • @mookeez If you ever find yourself in New Jersey, let me know and we will hit the course together.

  • hey cubby how long can u drive off a tee if the 300+ i am 14 i played for 5 months now and i have gotten to 381 ft so comment back when you can man i wish i could hit as many aces as u cubby

  • @Killer65productions Ahhh to be 14 and throwing 381 that is sweet. This old many is happy if he can throw 300. I throw lots of wide cut shots so distance is not in my bag. I also have learned that short holes are fun and competitive with all skill levels when you play in the same group. I do salute big arms like yourself. Love watching a big throw. Keep in touch and do well out on the course.

  • you da man!

  • @GorillaJesus69 Thanks!

  • Thats cool that your good and everything, but I would never waste my time recording every shot...WOW...you must have recording 3000000000 times

  • @rocamy Just doing my humble part in promoting this great sport.

  • Cubby...a late congrad to your 400th keep 'em coming

  • @rawdeal83 Thanks and sorry for the late repsonse back ;)

  • Hey cubby how many ace's have you had in one set (game).

  • @ballswellington two in round. six in a day.

  • you are my hero!

the only amazing shot ive made was off a hill, over 250 ft high, to a trashcan around 520 feet away

  • @MrMdizzle420 Thanks and I would have loved to see that sweet drive to the trash can.

  • wow.. thx for posting the cabinet pic. had to see it lol almost time for a new cabinet

  • @starek08 Going to be hard to find another cabinet like that antique one.

  • Thanks for adding the distance Cubby. You da man!!

  • @Joeyo7777 Your welcome.

  • Congrats Cubby. Keep shootin'.

    Aim LOW

    Mark

  • @gowolves4 Thanks Marc, low hard and to the right (for righty backhanders)

  • Yhanks for your very kind words and respect.

  • you ever hit the camera with a disk?

  • Not often, but I have knocked the lens off of a digital camera before with a direct shot to the camera.

  • Did you notice the date in your description is next month? Just pointing it out. Nice shot.

  • Thanks....I corrected it.

  • 400 More Cubby!

  • Thanks Eric!

  • Congratulations with the 400th ace Cubby. Keep em coming. Greetings from Norway.

  • Thanks for your kind words and it is great to hear from a Disc Golfer from Norway.

  • i have done only one ACE and it was 79 meters.

  • Congrats on your Ace! I hpe to hear about your next one.

  • AWESOMEE!!! I love disc golf too and I'm from finland

  • Thanks and great to hear from a Disc Golfer from Finland!!!!

  • Great shot. cool hole. keep it up.

  • @thatcatstan Thanks!

  • Congratulations Cubby! Your awesome!

  • @bandyman8 Thanks!

  • Amazing Cubby! Again, truly an inspiration. Congrats.

  • @Freshman302 Thanks for your kind words!

  • Been waiting to see number 400, Cubby. Huge congrats!

  • @bek2009 Thanks!!!

  • NICE! There is a hole at my home course (Dolese Youth Park in Oklahoma City) it is 1000 feet or so on its longest point and I actually got par (3 throws) on it today, idk why its a par 3 but it is lol I ALWAYS bogey (or double) the monster

  • Thanks! Congrats on getting a 3 on a 1,000 ft hole. That is sweet!

  • Awesome man. Dolese is one of my favorite courses. Ha and they dont name that hole the monster for nothin. Its a struggle for anyone to get par on that. Especially when its on its long.

  • Hey Cubby, question for you... do you ever throw your discs forehand? because every video I've seen, your discs always hook in from the same direction. Let me know, and thanks in advance!

  • I mainly throw righty and lefty backhand, But I do have aces lefty and righty forehand as well as a tomahawk ace. I broke my elbow back in 1974 and a righty forehand throw does not feel right but I will throw that shot if need on a short throw.

  • Got my first ace a few days ago, 5th time ever playing. No one was there so I just had to yell real loud, scared the heck out of some squirrels :-p There is a certain epiphany one has when throwing a disc right into the chains, realizing that it wasn't an accident, that you actually have control and it's replicable. Then the daunting shots that intimidated you once before seem approachable, and the behavior of discs start to make sense. I can only hope to reach a 10th of your success! :-)

  • WOW! Great job on hitting an Ace after only playing 5 times. That feling will stay with you forever and I am sure we will here more from you in the future on the Ace front. Thanks for sharing your Ace and the insights and realizations you described. Keep in touch and thanks for your kind words.

  • WOO WOO 400th NICE!!!!

    that's amazing !!!

It would be awesome if you could make a vid about what normally in you r bag

Ps: that was a sweet ace .

Your a great ambassador to a great sport well done!!!

  • Thanks!!!!!!!!! I'll try to get a video of whats in my bag soon.

  • Cubby, congrats on #400!!! I'm still chasing after ace #2, but I'm having a heck of a lot of fun in the process. :)

  • Thanks and I love your attitude!

  • Any more full round videos in the works Cubby?

  • I'll try to get some full round video soon.

  • Great job Cubby! You have a lot of fans here in Georgia! Me and some of my boys even started Team Cubby with shirts and all!!!! Pics to come later!

  • only 399 more and I'll be caught up to you Cubby!

  • :) As long as you are having fun, keep at it!

  • Congrats on number 400, you truly are a great person to have in the sport. I have only been playing since April, but I know my first one is coming soon. I can feel it.

  • Thanks so much for your kind words. Comments like yours continue to be a source of great inspiration to me out on the course. Congrats on discovering the sport and I look forward to hearing about your first Ace.

  • #400 AWESOME!!! Congrats!!! I've been a fan of yours for a while. Way to go!!!

  • Joe, Thanks so much for your kind words and your loyal viewership. It's great to hear from you. Please keep in touch.

  • Nice work Cubby! Thanks for dedicating it to us, we always check to see if you get new aces. Do you "retire" the disc after you make a hole-in-one, or keep throwing them?

    thanks

  • Thanks for your kind words! All of the great people like yourself that watch my videos on YOUTUBE and take the time too say hi and comment in a positive way provides me with inspiration out on the course and makes me want to be the best I can be. Thanks to you and all my loyal viewers.

  • Nice work Cubby, thanks for dedicating to us! Do you retire the discs that you make the hole-in-one's with afterwards?

  • I retire every disc after an Ace, all 400 of them. In the video at the end you will see an antique cabinet that has all of my ace discs in it but two. My first ace disc hangs on the wall with the original tee sign that used to be on the hole. The second ace disc (311) hangs on the wal above a picture I took that is a single exposure that captured the disc flight from tee to to basket at night with a light on the disc. The only picture in the world (I beleive) that has captured that,

  • Cubby, have you posted that pic? I'd love to see it. Thanks bro. Congratulations again!!

  • Which pic?

  • Sorry, didn't realize I was being vague- dooh! I mean the pic of ace disc 311 that hangs on your wall- of the single exposure night flight. That has got to be so cool. I'd love to see it.

By the way Cubby, if I haven't said it already- you rock man. Thanks so much for even replying to our comments. That is the sign of a true hero.

  • @jackokorn Did I post the pic yet? Thanks for your kind words.

  • @jackokorn send me your email to acediscgolf@hotmail.com and I wil send you a link to the photo.

  • OK , Cubby , I gotta ask you something. I noticed you do a lot of videos where you are walking from the basket to the teepad and then you drive . How many times have you done that walk and NOT hit an ace? LOL.

Nice ace again and congrats on # 400 !!!

  • Like most sports there is lots of preparation and unheralded moments that transpire before glory calls. I've learned more about the sport and life in those walks. There is an inner peace I find during those tranistions, It helps you learn to make the shot count.

  • Grats man... I can't believe you keep hitting these. I started playing in april, played probably 2500 holes so far in total and no hole in ones yet. And I know people who've played a lot more who aren't even close to the 400 you've hit, this is just amazing.

Maybe I'll get my first HIO one day, maybe I'll get another one. But this is outstanding. Keep them coming!

  • Thanks for your kind words! Some get Aces some don't. One fo the greatest ball gofers, Ben Hogan never got a hole in one, I am fortunate to be blessed with an ability to find the chains. That does not take anything away from someone elses game or make me any better because I have 400 aces and someone has none. It's all about a passion I have for the sport that I share, maybe it inspires some, that is a good thing,

  • so are u retireing now???or what

  • Retiring and not shoot for 500! I'l never retire frm Disc Golf!

  • GRATZ Cub on your 400! your vidz are amazing and love watching them. by the way you in guiness books yet?

  • Thanks! this is not about records (No way to confirm anyhow) This is all about fun and sharing my passion for the sport.

  • congrats!

  • Thanks!

  • wow what an epic video. two walks, one throw, one ace. you're such a stud.

  • Thank you for your kind words, a fitting ace for 400 and a bonus video to boot.

  • Way to go Cubby! 400!!!!! If you're not in The Guinness World Record Book by now you should be :)

I'm curious...how often do you play?

  • Thanks!!! There really is no way to cofirm or quantify what I have done for any kind of guiness record, a personal record suits me just fine and the internet lore is something I will leave behind someday.

  • Congrats Cubby!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Dude!!! Cubby, you continue to rock. 400- I love it. Keep it going bud. We'll keep watching. (Springfield, VA)

  • Thanks I really am flattered by all the kind responses on 400.

  • BTW the intro music is sick. Im sure it is a cubby original.

  • Music is from ROXIO Creator 2009. The software I use for the videos. Thanks!

  • This is all ive been waiting for. That was sweeet. Thanks for the dedication. It means alot. My next ace is for you. Its gonna be on video to. Thanks for everything cubby.

  • I really aprreciate your kind words. I was hoping that 400 would be a special shot and captured on video too! Good luck on your next Ace!

  • Nice shot! One of your longer video aces that I've seen.

What is your longest ace ever? Longest video ace?

  • All of my Aces by the tee sign have been under 300. Many of my shots have been thrown over 300 as I like to swing them wide and cut them back in to the target.

  • Congrats on your 400th Cubby, that's an amazing feat. I'm still workin on my first.

  • Don't worry about getting an Ace if it happens great, just have fun and throw with confidence and visualize what will happen. One of the greatest ball golfers, Ben Hogan, never had a hole in one.

  • Awesome dude! Haha, I'm still looking for my first one...I've hit the basket a few times, but it hasn't actually landed inside.

Hey how do you feel about the Tomahawk throw?

  • Thanks! Your first will come and you will never forget it. I don't use that shot much but I have a tomawak Ace.

  • Another awesome one sir! and thanks for putting the distance on this one.

New music at the beginning by the way?

  • Thanks! I added the additional music at the start of the video to fill the time I used waling to the tee and then tranitioned to my usual tune,

  • Nice throw man, gratulations on the milestone :D

Do you tape every throw you make and hope for aces ? Must be quite some work ^^

  • I always have my camera with me but I don't always set it up. if the mood strikes me and I am playing solo, I will set it up as I play on holes I can reach in one. if I get the ace cool it goes to YOUTUBE, if not I move on to the next possibility.

  • hey nice job cubby on that ace i have started playing like a month ago and now i am getting my driving down but can you give me any pointers on putting cause that is where i have the problem at

  • wow that was amazing!

  • As is every throw ;)

  • WOOT!! GO CUBBY!!!

  • :) Thanks

  • dang nice shot. im still looking for my first ace.

  • Thanks so much! Looking forward to hearing about your first Ace.

  • cool , 400 aces:D

  • Thanks!

  • That was so legit. I've been watching your videos for a long time now and I just thought I'd ask, do you play the course backwards so that you can record it? And do you set your camera up for every single hole, have you gotten a lot of aces w/o a camera? Can I be your camera man? And keep up the good work Cubby!!!!

  • Thanks! I don't play the course backwards. I walk ahead to the basket place the camera and walk back as you see in this video. I do not set up the camera for every hole or even set it up everytime I play. If I am playing solo and the mood strikes me I will set it up on all the holes I can reach on the course I am playing on. And yes you can be my cameraman any time. Thanks for your kind words!

  • sweet throw cubby!

     -Nick

  • Thanks Nick!

  • awesome! same day I hit my first ace! Man I am completely mesmerized by the flight of something as simple as a disc. I was SO CLOSE to my second ace the other day 310 ft on a skip but it bounced out :( nice throwing cubby i think i've seen all of your youtube videos so far, congrats on youre ehh.. 400th ace!

  • Congrats on your Ace!! Keep in touch.

  • Nice throw Man!! Showing the walk proves its a real ace too, for all those haters doubting.

  • Thanks, I figured I would post the walk since it is a milestone Ace.
