Kudos to you for choosing to not pipe in some dumb arse wanker music like so many dweebs do. I would much rather listen to the deep growl of that DR650 than listen to wannabes playing a bunch of over-saturated (and overly simplistic) power chords on their guitars and pretending they can sing. I hate that penis cheese crap! And so many weak-minded bozos have themselves convinced that they need to dub in that crappy music for motorcycle videos. Thumbs up to you, and keep on riding!
I sold my Dr650 because I couldn't ride off road at all with it and hold ground with the stock tires. I should of put some off road tires on it, and just road it like that on the street also. I'm pissed I sold it after seeing you ride it like that, because that's what I bought it for.
@Coolride17 I tried ridin my DR650 in Michigan with the stock tires. With all the sand here, it was almost impossible. My cousin was with me and the only difference between the bikes was the tires. He didn't have any problems and I had nothing but problems.
clfry what kind of tires are you running on your DR? What model of barkbusters did you get? Do you remember how many inserts you added to your supertrapp?
Tires vary depending on where I'm riding, but right now I'm partial to Kenda Trakmasters and Maxxis M6006's. I think in this video I had a Trakmaster front and 6006 rear. Sometimes I use not DOT fronts. The handguards are Acerbis Rally and I use 8-12 discs depending on season, conditions and jetting.
@MrKranked I ride my DR 90% offroad and have found that Cheng Shin C755's work great! They are cheap tires, but wear OK and get great off road traction....Not many full knobs out there in a 17" rear.....
Phenomenal! Unfortunately, I noticed you have it in high quality after I watched the whole thing haha. That 650 sounds absolutely awesome. I've got an XT 225, and I want a 650 for my next bike, but I can't decide whether I want Honda, Suzuki, or Kawasaki. I have awhile to decide, though, because I don't have enough cash right now... :D

Almost 30 mph in 1st gear on that DR, and they are freakin heavy..350 lbs with a 4.9 fuel tank...but I love mine.

@pecanpie100
I kinda dig simplistic power chords with riding vids, I'm just too lazy to add it.
lol, if I add it, someone doesn't like it, if I don't, someone wants it... it's a no-win.
