OSX Leopard (10.5.6) on my HP DV6700t, round 2

ok, i did this once on my DV7600 (not the "t" model, with no discrete grfx card). it worked, but it had a few things not working, like the wifi, which was enough for me to get rid of it, but the thing is, i would LOVE to set mine up to run nothing BUT osx. im into using a few music programs, and photoshop, and web surfing and thats it. any suggestions? i dont remember modifying the BIOS when i did it.

i just use ubuntu and customize it to be mac look a like...is this a legit os x? it seems pretty close. please get at me in a pm or something and throw me a link to download? will this only work on hp? i have a sony vaio

this works on bascially any intel core2duo and intel based chipset. one thing people don't realize is that the last version of the DV6700Ts were IDENTICAL to the macbook pro at the same time except for the video cards (hps have a slower Nvidia 840GS). i have the penryn cpu and 4gb memory. however vaio should work too given sound is hackintosh ready :)

Think it's a real OSX and it'll work on every PC... or nearly every...

But "work" means not "fully supported like on windows".... you have to patch things etc.. and some just don't work (just like my intel 5100, it'll never get any support I guess)..

Tanks a lot seamonkey! But im looking and i have a DV6700 not DV6700t. I have an Atheros wifi card in it. Im downloding Ideneb right now and its sooo slow. The download will finish in like 4 day ahahah! But tanks man!

hmm, wind has the advantage since it can sleep and hibernate and runs like a natural born mac. however my dv6700t does have more cpu and gpu oomph so that is nice for imovie rendering :)

well i never put my computer in sleep i use insomnia x so i can keep it running all the time lol.

but have you played any mac games on there yet or do you think the video card wont be compatible with mac games?

hehe, i will try my world of goo game and a few other older ones i have (i haven't bought any newer mac games since i only have an air as my only true mac)
