  • Works fine and dandy until the commies come along. Then you gotta build a really tall building with a lot of flags.

  • I just notice that ROM mod for civ4 have some of these movies and like it because

it reminds me of the times i had civ 2

  • I always found this wonder useless... Really... If i wanted to have a chat with a enemy nation, I would do so once i discover communism and build the UN.. And I would never really need to swap techs cause great library did most of the job for me.

  • CIV 2 = State of the ART

  • Not my personal favourite bit of music but definitely the most powerful wonder.

I banned myself from building it as it was even easier to win every game (deity large map) with all the tech swapping this enabled.

30 odd days to go for Civ 5 at time of posting ))

  • @chrimwinster We all knew that Marco Polo was the cool kid on the block. You may not have built it, but you weren't in the in-crowd if you didn't support Marco Polo!!!

  • This was one of the better wonders to build.

  • the best music of this game...

  • But i really want to know the real name of this piece of music, i loved this soundpiece ever since i was playing civ 2 a long long time ago

  • the music is not the same pice as "The Kiss" by Trevor Jones

  • yes it's not the same, it's an arrangement. Anyone knows where one can find the whole piece?

  • The music was also reused in another Microprose game, Magic: The Gathering, as the BGM for towns. With Internet, now I finally know the source of the music I had been wondering since 12 years ago!

  • man i miss that music in the newer game. Civ 4 is awesome and so was civ 3 but there was nothing quite like when music like this kicked in. lol ahh the memories..ahhh

  • The name of the song is "The Kiss" by Trevor Jones

  • I us3ed to build this only for the music, then i would trade geography with other nations. Best trick!

  • This was the one Wonder I stridently avoided. As an isolationist player I wanted to keep to myself and not be bothered with the other players crappy demands.

By the time I meet the French or Romans I want to be at *least* 200 years ahead of them technologically. When this one pops up, spend your production on something else!

  • Ha - me too. Half the things I built I did for the music.

  • all the videos are in a folder on your game CD, you don't even have to start the game to hear/watch everything.

  • any1 know the name of the song!!!

  • the song is called 'the kiss' from the movie 'The last of the mohicans'
