As far as we can tell, there is no way to keep a tomato, in a pot, during the summer, watered enough. Like you, we simply water them everyday. Tomatoes in the ground, that’s a different story. Our garden is a small urban garden, we use raised beds and after planting we lay on a three to four inch layer of mulch to maintain moisture. This works fine for us and now we only water twice a week. Good luck and let us know it your tomatoes turn out this season!
Hiya, How do I stop the soil from drying out to quickly? I water twice a day but it is still really dry in the summer in the South of France and My tomatoes stuffer.
