Yup, deadline reached and we're all set. New prop has made it through dev and test...we're pretty confident with this one. Spent more time with this one then any other porp we've built. Might take us a week or two to get the video out, but we're pretty optimistic on the results.
Thats pretty sweet, you should make something REALLY REALLY noisy or better yet a chainsaw noise. I'm using a chainsaw to scare people ( yes I know not to go after little ones since thats just plain mean ). I talked to a trooper yesterday on the phone and he said if i'm not threatening them than i'm fine and to just be careful. They say the muffler will get hot yes but mine has a guard on the outside of it so u cant get burned and you can blow the engine but it is an old chainsaw
@TheEhpicGaming.....Indeed, and we're busy busy busy using hammers, torches and gas powered sharp things to make this year's prop. Hopefully most of it will come together this coming weekend. It better...cause like you said "27 days".
@AceForever4265 I understand. If you had a transportable prop, you could find someone local running a haunted house and offer your prop and services to operate it. Figure out a way to build a "Trash Can Trauma" (I didn't invent it, it's been around) without pneumatics and using electric motors. If you can build an electric "Trash Can Trauma" that can blow the prop explosively outta the metal trash can, you have a portable prop and you'll get to use it. Mine are heavy, I use pneumatics.
@TheWarPlanet How many Trick or Treaters? Well.. some kids but not many, probably 10-15 people atleast. I live in a culdesac and not many people live here either it's like a ghost-town lol.
That was definitely a pretty darn smart and innovative way to do it. Props on the originality of doing it manually via computer. God, gotta love Halloween
@satanxhhhx Thanks for the kind words. We're in project mode now...we've got an electric and pneumatic prop we're adding to the existing devices. We'll get the video out during the first week of November this year.
@jntragesser You're very welcome. Really, I find it a bit sad that people just don't seem to put as much into Halloween as they use to. It is, with out a doubt, my favorite day of the year. I'm glad that there's still people out there who get into the spirit and have fun with it. Looking forward to seeing what your minds work up this year for props. I'm quite a big compute person to, so it appeals to two major things with me, probably why I liked your setup so much :)
i wish i had the money to decorate my house all awesome like this XD but halloween stuff is expensive.
