Let's see, in 2002 Georgia has a Democratic governor, lt. governor, secretary of state and attorney general. I guess they all conspired to defeat the incumbent Democratic senator.
No where does it say that Saxby actually had anything to do with anything other than the fact he won. It could have been someone else who did it because they did not want Max to win.
The way we do elections is either criminal or grossly negligent. It's sad to think that Iraq's elections (with blue ink on the fingers) may have been more accurately counted and well-run than our own. I can go to the ATM and take $10 to $500 out, get a printed receipt with my statement of account, etc, do all kinds of large transactions online, etc., incredibly accurately and securely (there are rarely problems) but we can't figure out how to do the same with our votes?
It's definitely criminal. Of course we can count elections accurately, but Republicans wil do anything to win and they did in 2000, 02, and 04. In Ohio, the CEO of the company that makes the vote-counting machines was one of Bush's biggest contributors!
@JILampropoulos This election wasn't stolen. The South has clearly been trending Republican, and Saxby Chambliss' election was just a sign of that trend.
Voter suppression in this state is perhaps as much a factor in fixing elections as is the use of these machines. I have often marveled at how this state gets such little notice. I'm furious with the democrats. Though they are the victims they don't have the balls to say anything?! This isn't a nutty conspiracy theory. You may dislike the dumb image of someone like Greg Pallast, I can't stand the guy myself, but to be honest you must admit that elections in the US have become very corrupt.
It seems like every time a Republican wins an election, be it for president or congress, the left always says the Republicans stole the election.

Just like the Minnesota Senate election, but no that wasn't stolen only if a Republican had won.
