They're a bit larger than a human, maybe 2 or 3 feet or so.

They have large membranous wings.

Enlongated heads, similar to that of a horse.

A mane down its back, starting on the top of its head.

2 feelers on the top of its head.

Sharp, jagged, teeth.

Claws and Talons similar to that of a bird on its front and hind legs.

A lower abdomen similar to that of an insect (looking more like that of an ant).

There is an rpg based off of the cuthulhu mythos called, "Call of Cuthulhu." It's kind of old but you should be able to find a core rulebook somewhere. It's really fun.
