Hi, Nauda, thanks for your answer. I have really enjoyed your postings. But because my hearing ability is very poor, I thought IA sang a rhyme of Mother Goose and would more deeply appreciate his song by knowing the title and the lyrics.
It would not like them to interpret me badly, but Ian for his/her versatility, has the Brazilian musician's face. That is one that can come play calmly in the Indian lands.
The voice is not quite what it was but what a talent. His flute playing, his compositions, his guitar playing and just his imagination. I don`t know what his greatest gift was or is, but he was clearly one of the best entertainers and showman of his generation. Nice clip....
Wonderful! Here you can see what a timeless and classical genius Ian really is. His music spans genres and millenia, and it really shines in this type of setting! My appreciation of Mr Anderson is just exploding from my original love of his rock and roll. I had no idea he was still out there doing his thing!
Thanks for posting, and broadening my world a bit! Is this performance available commercially as a DVD?
You know his way: Never too old to rock n roll! :D
Yes, this video can be bought as a DVD. Actually, my brother brought it from a concert. Pity that when i went to a concert, they weren't selling DVDs, CDs, nor T-shirts... :'(
I saw this concert when Ian toured. It was better than seeing Ian with the Jetro Tull band. What a beautiful arrangement. Ian is the mozart of our time!
yeah :) except Mozart couldn't use a flute, nor a guitar, and I dont know, if he could sing... :)My brother saw this concert too, in Budapest. I wanted to go too, but i had to be elsewhere... I curse my foolness now... but it's late. The next time Ian comes to Budapest, I'll be there AT ANY COSTS!!
