As for the environment factor, as if. Real grass is the only good thing for the environment. Anything else is nothing but a corporation's excuse to sell more of its products while attempting to carry the false flag of being eco-friendly. If they're serious about going green, they would've gone green instead of going red.

@clapinc I'm not against artificial turf, as long as it emulates real grass, which is how these sports first originated. Nobody thought of playing on red fields. If red fields ever existed, they would've been avoided by those who came up with the game in the first place. It's unnatural and it looks like a cheap carpet. This suits a vintage porno movie more than a game. No class at all. The Northwest must've had a nuclear leakage somehow that affected their thinking.

What a stupid, useless idea that only brags 'attention' to the university. That's what it's all about, one big filthy publicity stunt. EWU suck. Sports are recreational activities, often played as competitive games. They originated on the beaches, grass fields, sand fields or ice lakes. American Football is a grass sport, be it real or artificial. Therefore it must be green. Keep it natural you dumbasses. The red, blue and other funky colors are just as stupid and cheesy as the 80's spandex era.
