@PacifistNL the tabs are at soul coughing underground. Pretty much all od SC's tabs are there. SCUG dot net. click on "tabs" then "other tabs" It's the first one.
Yall are fucking stupid Soul Coughing and Mike Doughty are gods among men end of story they fucking own if you think anything different your fucking brain dead and may as well kill yourself
@narfsuicide420 you might be taking this stuff a bit too seriously... or maybe it's time for your meds or something. either way relax, dude, it's just a band, there are better things to get uptight about.
They remind me of a Dave Matthews Blues Travelers mix but thats what I thought ten years ago I compared Soul to them when describing them just my personal opinion
?? While I do think SC defies any comparison, I wonder what sounds remotely like BT or DMB about their music? Seriously, that's like saying KISS sounds like a Pink Flloyd/Beatles mix.
Doughty's singing/wordplay always reminded me of 50's beat poetry. The acoustic bass brings this feeling home. Then we have incredible drumming on what sounds like differently tuned snares. And this guy quoting everyone from The Andrews Sisters to King Crimson on the sampler, also playing simple chord progressions on piano/synth. You're right, WeMust, they defy comparison.
This song sounds like someone desperately running from impending doom!
Why run?

I emailed the keyboardist from the band. He said they would never have splitten up if it was not for Mike Doughty
