A lot of people pick on Cheryl Cole and say she can't sing. She's really not any less talented than Nicole Scherzinger to be fair. I mean Nicole may be a technically better singer, but doesn't mean she is a better artist. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact Nicole is American and Cheryl is British.
