So far its decent, but not perfect. I use the product with the Guitar USB Cable First Act provides with it. Anyway to create guitar distortion without making it extremely loud?

I am sure it is some kind of " mix-up " However, with the greatest of respect, i have recently called support for Pyro Audio Creator but they didn't respond to my concerns about error messages either by the phone or the last two emails. what an embarrassment to Cakewalk this cruel "support " joke at has been to this point. What makes you think they will respond to you on another product launch once you have paid and they are "the boss" ?

I recieved the First Act USB Microphone with the Cakewalk Music Crreator LE as a gift. I have read trough directions and still have been unable to record vocals. I plugged in the microphone and clicked the record button. The volume monitor thing was moving up and down as I was singing but nothing is showing up that I can play. If i could get some feedback that would be great haha.

@beautifullytragictay Odd. I use the guitar cable and it works fine. Just have to unplug before you play back. Try that.

@beautifullytragictay it took me a few minutes to get mine working...make sure the Record button on the left hand side is turned on (it will be red), and it helps to have the echo turned on so you know it is working while you are doing it. Make sure you have the input selected to your microphone, then press the Record button on top. After messing with it for a few minutes and not having any luck...I realized my mic was not turned on! haha hope this helps....

@OneDerangedManiac Music Creator 5 (latest version of LE) is Win 7 friendly - meaning that it is not officially supported through Cakewalk or the third party products it is bundled with. However, it may very well work inside a Win 7 machine.

Is this program fairly simple to use? I've tried some programs like fruity loops and have had trouble using them because they're just too complicated, though I don't like audacity because it's too simple. Could this be compared to garage band? thanks
