  • if i scratch my nose it means im nervous

  • well with a slideshow u dont get results soo just experment with other peoples moves lokk up on the inet and see if your results were right about some gesture/act.

  • i put my arms up to relax not cuz i know it all

  • You can tell a lot about a girl by her hands. For instance, if theyre placed around your throat shes probably a violent person.

  • I think trying to decipher gestures as to have a general meaning is a bit too vague. You have to put the background, education, personality, and the culture of the individual into consideration.

Gestures are often misunderstood and not the clearest form of communication. For example if I scratch my nose it means I am bored thats just me personally. Some types of body language can communicate how the other person is feeling, but it's just not clear enough. Learn telepathy and psychic empathy.

  • I am not criticizing you in any way, I am just offering my opinion. For me personally when I do certain gestures it has a different meaning than what you state here. For example I was raised in a church where crossing your arms was a sign of reverence and respect. Certain gestures can mean different things in various cultures. For example if I lace my fingers together even when talking to someone, that does not mean I am frustrated, it means I am praying silently.

  • this really helps me out a lot. I have aspergers so please wish me luck...

  • Doing a paper about this in school, is it all true, and where did you get ur facts from? plz awser

  • Great vid,thanx for posting

  • What if the person keeps farting while talking to you? I talked with someone like that today who did that and wondered if it's just gas or something bigger.

  • If the person slap you on the face, it probably means that person dislikes you very much.

  • Good video well done

  • This helps a lot. Thank you! :D I tend to do a lot of insecure gestures that I didn't notice before. XD

  • thank you

  • These are pure theories and not entirely true...it can be bad habits that mean nothing. Everyone is different and you can be well trained to hide insecurities, business people and politicians are well trained to do this, otherwise you will never make it to the top.

  • @MsElliew1 yes but remember the part where she said clusters, you will notice that in one area someone maybe controling their upper body language but than there will be a discrepency with the lower body or another region. Some of these gestures are in fact primal or developed from birth. e.g why do you think regardless of ethnicity or upbringing that people use the left to right movement with their heads as a sign negativity or the sign of no??? think about when a baby is full when being feed

  • 1:56 wtf her hand

  • great now we all change our gestures ,!!!

i mean WTF are you talking about , these are theories

i put my hand on nose always when am loughing to hide my freaking toth who make me look silly!!!!

am alway handshaking with the outher hand on the person hand

thump up guys if you feel i was onest and telling the truth

  • @omi20 She also said to keep in consideration of the environment and situation the person is in. Your particular situation was covering your mouth because of the appearance of your teeth, you obviously weren't paying attention.

  • 5.10 TO 6.08 are all gestures that Liam Gallagher shows. you would find a good wrist-gripping picture from him.

  • they are a little easier to spot but microexpressions are more specific

  • i think microexpressions are better when spoting a lie

  • @funnyman2150 No, micro gesture are way easier to spot.

  • So many of these need to be tested and have situations added to it in order to teach why it represents what she is saying. If there isn't any practical application and proof of how certain postures can mean two or more different things then almost any gesture can be misinterpreted. Much more analysis and presentation is needed for it to be true.

  • Basically you are saying that you feel that this is what people are communicating. Because one can never know what the internal processes of another person is... All you can see is that people move their bodies, the rest is assumption, with that said you can become very good at assuming things... ;-)

  • @elliotflorian It can be tested scientifically, and many psychologists study just this type of stuff. None the less, I don't know if she actually had a source or made this up. Most of it sounds accurate, but some of it I'd need to see a source to back it up.

  • @elliotflorian Of course we can never, as far as we know, read the internal thoughts of another directly. And reading movements can be flawed. However, if you see habitual movements when presented with certain stimuli, especially if there are multiple gestures, you can find it very reliable.

Of course it's not perfect; the guy could be a superb bluffer.

  • no bet)

  • Really great video but at 4.43 I couldn't make out what was being said.

"This higher the hands are clenched together the worse the person ?????????"

The worse the person inten ds??

  • @boundlesslife12 Hitler used to clench his hands above his head

  • @kingdavewoody

    Interesting thanks.

  • @boundlesslife12 ".....the worse mood the person is in." :)

  • @Sw33tLittleLady

Yea thought it was something like that, thanks very much for that.

  • I disagee 5:22- it can also means that person is confiderent !

  • Gesture at 5:33 indicates the person is fat.

  • i thought this video was great! very helpful thankyou:)

  • very nice collection of most common gestures, thank you!

    upgraded, faved and shared!

  • if the person scratches thier nose it means thier nose is itchy... not its not, they are just waiting for an opportunity to pick their nose :))))) just kidding... good video :)

  • I'm guilty of every single last one of the negative ones, and I use not a single positive one. Gee thanks.

  • O.K. fine I have managed much through assessing gestures correctly and hands over the mouth are not always liars, they can be a way not to remember something unpleasant etc., or to stop sudden pains in the jawbones,

  • I have never seen a person cover their mouth when they lie. If anything, I've seen them hide their hands, and tuck their chins in.

  • I like to lean against the wall.

  • where is this accent from?

  • Great information

  • This wasso helpful for a session I'm giving to teachers about their body language. Great job Jenny

  • so useful in daily way of life thank you for this good video...

  • this is goddamn helpful ~~

  • can anyone tell me what she said at around 4:44 about "the higher the hands clenched togather the ______ ?? i can't hear what she says..

  • @kelnology the higher the hands, the worst is the mood the person is in

  • @Tricky7431 Oh thank you very much!!

  • The Worst The Mood the Person is In ...thats What On 4:44

  • @WIND302490 Thank you..now i can rest in peace.. =X

  • thank you so much

  • tnx

  • Thanks that was great, I got what I was looking for. I now know what that lady was communicating to me subconsciously the other day.

  • Thanks that was great, I got what I was looking for.

  • This is why baseline behaviors must be established first. When you know how the person normally behaves, you can interpret the non-verbal cues. That's the hard part for me.

  • Guys/Girls,

This is accurate information, however you have to understand that there will sometimes be logical explanations. Via: Their nose itches, or if their cold. But you have to do some logical thinking. If it's warm in the room, or if the person itches their nose allot.

  • i cross my arms not because im insecure or cold, but because its comfortable haha

  • @SugarSweetStar24 hellzz yeah

  • The video is great, but Is the commentator indian?

  • What does it mean when someone puts their hand under their armpit then flaps the armpit arm up & down rapidly?

  • 7:07 worry and fear

  • Very nice and informative video! Teachers can use it at school to show students what is what!

  • i have a habit of putting my pinkie over my mouth with the rest of my fingers on my cheek, usually when im trying not to laugh or when im getting in trouble....is that common?

  • in reality this person has no clue of reality on hand cues

  • Hi Simona! This is a great video, I get to learn new things! Thanks for sharing this! Keep it up! -Lynne =)

  • that's rite, an erectile tissue itches in the nose as it is a physiological reaction to deception (lying). so yes 'Cathrynwoohoo', the nose is itchy bcos they r probably lying

  • lmao they forgot the knuckle handshake the jabulah worshipers use. ahahah i mean freemasons.

  • I like listening to your voice.... You're my favorite source of body language referencing

  • she says : Materbate langauge

  • @b1gbanger l2 use replay button she said master.

  • cute accent ....

  • Hi

Simona wow quite impressive with the interpretation of boy language i was hoping

you could send so more video

  • I've heard a different interpretation of some of those gestures. I would say it depend of the circumstances as well.

  • now.. If I could only understand what your saying..

  • if the person scratches thier nose it means thier nose is itchy

    :L

  • @Cathrynwoohoo if they tell a lie blood rushes to surface of the skin on the face, it's just the body's natural reaction, and when the blood is close to the skins surface it causes the skin to itch. the main places the blood gets close to the skins surface is nose, back of the neck, ear and eyes. so they could just have a itchy nose or it could be itchy due to a lie. thats why you always have to looks for signs of lying or signals in clusters. That way it's a more accurate reading.

  • I thank you for making this video. Great.

  • excellent video. I would like to understand more gestures. Where can i find them.

  • but but, i always touches my nose because it itches!!!

    i got sinus.. :(

    and whenever i lie, i'll give a grin/smirk.... ahahaha.

    THANK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION!!

  • at 8:13, what if he stroking his dick ?

  • The pictures are not ideal but you succeeded in passing the message very well! Greate job!

  • Really enjoying the videos and your commentaries!

  • Thanks for sharing - interesting. :)

  • Person´s Energy tells more about him than any body language, BL can be learned and faked, Energy can not.

I´ve been watching how autistic people react to different people and learned from them, I can stand in the exact same position and change my thought and they react to me differently almost immediately.

There is a basic law of the Universe saying that "Energy Follows Thought" Body Language is just the beginning. Yes you can learn it first, there are many sub-dynamics below that.

  • Autistic children can read your thoughts huh? You aren't suposed to drink the bong water dude.

  • My friend, I have two autisitic children one who is non-verbal, he totally reacts to my emotional energy and to the emotions of others, I have done a lot of work on keeping my energy and thoughts poisitive, my children have acted as a mirror to my thoughts. You can also see this in certain Neurotypicals, especially children. We are all connected, Autistics are extra sensitive, they can sense when a person is genuine or not. - I agree with Laruschoades - no need to drink bong water LOL Peace

  • Everybody likes to think they have some special connection with their children, pets, siblings, etc. I can imagine that spending a lot of time with an autistic non verbal child would play tricks on the mind. Possibly clouding your judgement? Autistic's are different, so they pick up on different body language, since no one knows what that language is they can't fake it. There is no such thing as esp, it's a fairy tale just like Santa Claus and god.

  • Zac you are entitled to your opinion, but even science concludes that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Science just doesnt have the tools to establish existence of ESP. For myself I have had premonitions/dreams that have become reality. The communication I experience is not so much a specific thoughts but a form of emotional energy/feelings or intuition. You are probably correct a bond between mother/child may enhance this link. I also believe in a divine creator.

  • @ascend2luv

    mmmm... bong water, mmmm....

I agree with everyone after a zip of Bong Water!

  • LOL :D

  • Great video Simona:)

  • Cool, Thanks for the video post. I have often wondered about hand gestures but not to the point of researching them. I had no idea on some of these. :)
