  • Wow! AT&T also fix cars! Do they have good coverage?

  • @peposo7 You are actually not too far off. At&t has several garages where a few mechanics are fixing the vehicles in the fleet all day long. The fleet of vehicles are the thousands and yes the mechanics work directly for At&t.

  • i like these videos cause when people try to follow your steps they usually screw up due to faulty steps that you make..... then they have to bring them to me (Mechanic) to fix it. keep makeing videos... makes me more money

  • wow my fuking mazda dealership told me i have 2% left on my front pads, and it looks like the ones you showed when you took the pad off!!! Orion so basically there are 2 parts to the pad? the metal bracket and then the pad itself?? Is that entire thing the pad?? To me it looks like you had ALOT of pad left unless I'm mistaken. Can you let it wear down almost to the bracket before replacing them??

  • @1q3er5 The metal bracket is what the pad is mounted too. The ones I took off had at least 50% left. You should not let them wear down to the metal becuase you would then damage the rotors. Usually you can feel the brake pulsate or screech when the pad is at the end of its life. You could wear them down to 10 percent and be fine. If your pad looks like these then you're fine. I was forced to replaced them by the car owner even after saying they did not need it. Check the inner pad too.

  • Man, those old brake pads were perfect! They could have lasted between 10k to 20k miles more dependieng on how fast you usually drive (and brake)! Your mechanic is an ass, that's clear, but it wasn't smart on your side to change them so early either. Trashing car parts is not good for the environment, so try not to do it without a reason. Keep in mind that saving money from your pocket is not the only important thing here.

  • @patonazareno I failed to mention that this is my sisters car and I tried to tell her that it did not need to be done, but she made me do because she takes their word over mine.

  • mechanic probably wanted to make money off of brake change

  • when your brakes start squealing that's when there at 20% and after that they become to anoying to drive.

  • @Cyrus057 I know I said 20 percent, but it actually was 40-50 percent at least. Her brakes never squealed or pulsed.
