  • Great now the faggots have turned Martyrs into a trend.

  • @SleepyDisso

Faggots=Bundle of sticks, if your going to diss someone get your facts straight -_-

Also, Martyrs is anything but a trend, its actually of the most underrated films of all time, it doesn't sell itself like Hollywood shit like Twilight, it actually lets the fans come to it, because they know only few can handle it.

  • @ThatGuyGus Please, don't act like a know-it-all for my benefit. Faggots is a term used not only for homosexuals but for annoying bastards like yourself.

Also, Martyrs is a well known film. Maybe not a blockbuster, but it's anything but underrated or unknown.

    Now kindly go fuck yourself.

  • @SleepyDisso Really? Hmmm if you check the ENGLISH dictionary Faggots means Cigarettes. Seriously, do you feel cool using vocabulary that your friends use just so you can fit in with them? I feel bad for you, cant even think for yourself.

I'm sure if you were to go to an Insidious movie opening & if you were to ask everyone there if they seen Martyrs, I can guarantee you, all of them wont even know what the term Martyrs is.

  • @ThatGuyGus Do you feel cool assuming shit about someone you don't even know, and being completely wrong? Idiot.

Who said anything about Insidious? For fuck's sake.

  • "I miss you." - with this music. My heart hurts.

  • Anyone know if the version from the movie Martyrs is available anywhere to buy/download??? This version - from Corduroy Road - is a few octaves higher and a little faster than the movie version. It's good but the movie version is even more emotional, in my opinion. So of course I can't find it anywhere except in the movie? It's not on the soundtrack either.

  • I was shocked to hear this song on Martyrs. I've been a Goldmund fan for a year now, and I watched the film today. Goldmund is seldom listened to by characters in today's culture, so to find it on the film was a wonderful surprise.

  • @SquirrellOFC This version is actually different from the movie version, too. This one, from Corduroy Road, is great but the movie version is a bit slower and in a lower pitch.

  • the movie was awesome, at least it had a plot (what realy wondered me after i saw the August Underground Triology)

  • this makes me feel pain

  • goldmund is amazing along with helios

  • paz..

  • will no tell me what movie this is from???

  • @wiebeReviews Martyrs

  • I through hiked the appalachian trail and the best is listening to post rock while you go

  • What film is everyone talking about?

  • @iAznGirl Martyr

  • @3:14 --> i always forget to breathe.

  • @IituLiitunenXD I had the exact same thing happen to me =) then I realized I was running out of air, haha it was amazing!

  • hg

  • The film was amazing..I wouldn't use the word beautiful as it was painful to watch(especially the last 30 mins) .One of the few films that stick to one's mind and makes you question our human nature..are we just animals..or not.

And I guess we are..Creative and full of imagination but still animals.

Oh and I love this song

  • If you like Goldmund, Eluvium, Helios, Sigur Ros, Boards of Canada, The Album Leaf, and similar artists, you may like my stuff. I'd love some support! :)

  • @MrScubasuit So true

  • this song is so great! It fits the scene perfectly. Anyone got any other recommendations for songs similar to this one? a song that would fit the scene just as fine?

  • wow, I love music like this and this song...just wow :D

  • There are some scenes that just wont leave you, ever. The music contributed greatly to this being one of them.

  • best horror movie of the decade and music is just so powerful and sad. i can,t wait for pascal next movie.

  • wish i could thumbs up this video by like a million , especially around 2:35.

  • This is breathtaking...it just makes me stare into space and forget everything

  • my friends and i were watching this movie and when this scene endwe were all silence and 3 of them including me crying its is very harrowing.

  • great tunes heartwarming

  • I will happily share this music with the world :)

  • One of the most inspirational pieces I have ever heard.

  • Great song and very good movie !

  • music like perfume. can play with your feelings. good music.

  • Martyrs was more than just a gory horror film, it's a piece of profound cinema.

  • Sounds really calm and relaxing. I like it alot!

  • Could anyone tell me the name of the movie? I'm certainly curious.

  • classy stuff...

  • nice to bleeeed too

  • thank you for posting this, Goldmund and Helios allow me to escape and let myself go from all the problems i deal with, i have never been able to do this before,

  • @metalgeorge123 just let it bleeed out........

  • Thats weird. Martyrs has some of the most shocking and violent scenes ever. But also one of the most touching moment ever (like this one with Anna).

Good job les français.

  • This music playing and Anna getting tortured was just too much for me.

    Great track by the way

  • wonderful track

  • Stay has an amazing soundtrack

  • Fascinante...

  • i saw the movie twice, partly for this music which I thought was merely composed for the film. amazing movie and beautiful song.

  • It took me hours to find this track... It is really outstandingly beautiful. This piece is what seemed to redeem all the brutality and horror of the film. Thank you for posting.

  • @chd1224 i think the message and insight into human frailty and emotion is redeeming enough, although this is an amazing piece of simplistic piano and guitar work.can't have everything easy i'm pretty sure the creators of the movie realise that hence the grooling work i can imagine went into creating martyrs

  • Does anyone have a link to a video of that scene in Martyrs where this song is playing and Anna just accepts her fate? It was so powerful.

  • Martyrs es una gran pelicula ojala tuviera tanta distribucion como Saw o Hostal pues las supera y por mucho!

  • Yeah, amazing scene in Martyrs but I still don't know what tothink. This scene was disturbing, sad, beautiful, fucking crazy, whatever man, this song is great.

  • Yeah! Great song!!

I didn't see the movie yet...

    Is it very disturbing?

  • if you dont like disturbing and emotional things i cant recomend the movie =). but i think you should see it anyway since the movie is to good to miss

  • Agreed, Martyrs is the only time I've ever looked away from the screen. And I've seen a lot of horror films.

The ending of the film is what sets it apart from "Hostle" and other torture flicks.

    Outstanding song as well.

  • it is disturbing :[

  • Please, what movie ?

  • Look down.

  • Yes please what movie is it?

  • the film "martyrs"

  • "-I think you have to let yourself go.

    -Do you think so?

    -Let oneself go.

    -If I can't do it,

will you be there for me?

    -Yes."

  • at that point, i started crying

  • - "I miss you."  :^{

  • @KillMePussycat

    "Why aren't you ever scared"

    "I'm scared sometimes..."

"Not like I am, I didnt go through what you did"

    THEN comes your part:)

  • @KillMePussycat

    "I miss you"

    Me: *almost cries*

  • @azulon435 I actually did cry T-T

  • Comment removed

  • this song is so beatuful =)

  • Martyrs forever!

  • M.A.R.T.Y.R.S

  • I totally cried during that part of the movie (and a couple others as well).

  • I've totally been looking for this song for weeks since seeing that movie. What an emotional scene, and what an unbelievably beautiful song.

  • Would love to see this, if anyone can do an upload?

  • Thanks man for uploading this amazing piece of music. I love the film and the music was haunting me so bad I spent months trying to find out who it was from.

There's already an upload, just type 'Martyrs more scenes'.

  • @FearTheNumbers What was the movie, dude?

  • @dotspace77 -- Sorry this is so late, it was the French movie 'Martyrs'.

  • @FearTheNumbers Haha, no problem man. Nothing better than a late youtube reply actually. You discover interesting shit you forgot you were ever interested about. Thanks for the reply!

  • Atmospheric melancholy.

  • Have you heard Door of Our Home? Amaaaaazing!

  • Yeah, that's a nice one! All of Coduroy Road it - this one's my favourite though, by miles.

  • I'd love to share more music with you. Stuff like this, beautiful it may be, but oh so hard to come by :(

  • Hey again. I've been listening to this a lot recently. It took me a while to get into it but I'm absolutely loving it at the moment. So subtle but moving. It's amazing :)
