@thesenamesaretaken That's because everything has been done to death. They're running out of ideas. The game world is evolving with things like motion capture technology becoming very life-like; it's evolving, particularly facial expressions (check out LA Noire some time to see a prime example).

What was once innovative is now standard. I guarantee this game wouldn't be nearly as well received nowadays because of the dated graphics, but more importantly the game play won't evolve until part 3.

What a serious bummer... I have been cruising around and exploring the game world for 15+ hours collecting everything I possibly could, and I just realized once you reach the final location of the game, you can NOT return to that game world anymore, not even after the ending.

Like the flags in Assassin's Creed, utterly pointless.

I knew this was coming but I collected the photos and pearls for satisfaction, but the fact that I cannot return to Hillys, that's really fucked up game design.

@levizer You can get it for PC from Steam, but the PC version is a bit buggy and awkward to play if you don't have a console gamepad.

Don't know why someone gave me a thumbs down for my previous comment. But it's true, just get another original xbox. They're pretty cheap.

You need to keep in mind that they probably have no intention to do anymore Backwards compatibility updates. Some of the games that are compatible still don't work well anyway. (E.g. glitches.)

Yeh, it's awesome, it's the kind of game that really hits you and makes you appreciate after you beat it, though, for at least me. I love this intro, it's so cinematic! I mean I was expecting them to pull a cheap plot twist like the DomZ taking the kids, but it wasn't that, I love the first battle's music though, awesome, this game has great music.
