Cool video girlie. I competed as well in the state of Texas. I end up being awarded a Spirit Award so I was considered to be Miss. Spirit of Texas since they award me with a marble/gold plaque from the NAMISS Pageantry. Here's a link to see the winners. Have a good one.

@ToniT79 well if you get invited to the open call you fill out an application. and if u are chosen, then you have to collect a total of $440 in sponsor fees. it's basically saves u a slot in the pageant. then u have to buy the official t-shirt outfit which is $40. and finally, the tickets to the final show are $15. that's pretty much the bottom line.

I got a letter to go, but I've researched it a lot and think it's a scam. I don't think it will open any real doors into modeling or acting, or even pageantry. But the skills you could get and the experience would definitely be fun, and worth it if you have that kind of money. First off there's the $20 entrance fee, then $440 sponsor fee, not to mention any additional contest options.

a few tips i was miss teen delaware last year...well on your intro you were too stiff and wasnt looking at the judges..and on your formal wear you walked to fast and didnt smile enough!and also needed to look at the judges more!and you should have never looked back for your escort just should have stood there and looked pretty!

2. It is a bunch of fun!

3 It depends sometimes. This year, Ohio is giving away $100 for the NAMiss Boutique for everyone who are staying 3 nights or more. The NAMiss Boutique is where they sell a ton of NAM stuff. Tiaras, pajamas, handbags, and much more.

It may seem like a lot of money, but you yourself don't have to pay it all. You can also have sponsors if you want. It's an awesome experienc and you should totally try it! It's amazing!!
