When will I see these places again I wonder and it indeed brings life time of memories to me Anuradhapura where i was born and grew up, Ananda College where i listened to this song every morning, and all sri lankans who smile over all the hardship they go through.
May the noble triple gem bless my country and it s people and of course may I born in sri lanka again and be lucky enough to live all my life there
I love this song... this brought tears to my eyes.. I miss those places alot..... what a beautiful country Sri Lanka is... I used to live around those sacred place...
I was able to sponsor 4 children from the SLA Seva Vanitha just surrendering the cash value of my insurance policy in SL. Each child needs Rs.48000 for 4 years of support.
I know there are many people became citizens in Australia , UK and US where they can afford to make this kind of donation. It can be an Insurance policy or a retirement fund account stuck in Sri Lanka but they can make use of it for this purpose.
Thank you for adding this song. People away from the country will feel this song the most. Sri lanka is our mother country, and it holds the first second and third place in our heart, no matter where you are. Hope to see its years old pride back.
Thanks machan for putting this on YT, they used to play this every morning @ school, aint no place like mother lanka, most people dont get that till they leave her and go abroad, thanks again
the part you said about "most people don't get that till they leave her and go abroad" is so true. I was one of the "most people" who didn't get it, either. What a pity we only realize it afterwards, when there isn't anything to be done then. "Deyaka agei theirenne eiy deya nativunahama." How unfortunate but true.
I love you very much MY MOTHER LANKA!!!

Please promote this idea among our Sri Lankans.
