I remember playing an Erudian SK and a Troll SK, Vargoth, killed the guards and the Barbarian at the lake to get me full mail/plate. I thought I was gonna be on their hit list again after I just killed 10000 gnolls in Black Burrow, lol. Man good times.
And yeah I camped the hell out of Misty. 1 Plat for her mandolin was good cash at that level but wow I paid for that. Often times forgetting that every bard hated my Erudian ass. Thank Bertox or whoever for some awesome DOTs and fear spells!
I think the thing that made it so good was trying to figure it all out. Here every game gives you a carrot on a stick but you really had to do some serious detective work in this game to really get anything done. I mean the leads or descriptions from npcs were almost cryptic. Smart players are the ones who got the good gear. At least until everything became a raid fest...
The ONLY reason why I had a wizard. Was just so I could teleport here and run along the riverside. For this music.
