  • Now, if DOUG FLUTIE lifted 350, i'd be surprised.

  • why is that surprising? I'm 6'3, 205lbs. I do 4 sets of 8 reps at 225 (fairly easily, no spot). My max is near 350. I'm just an average joe. Peyton Manning is a genetic freak if you really look at him. Tall, lanky, and a arm that can throw a ball a country mile. U forget how big these guys are.

  • I listened to an interview with Tom Seaver and he said weightlifting for a pitcher is mainly lower body work.

  • Interesting that quarterbacks do dumbbell presses because every baseball team my friends and i have ever played on forbid pitchers from doing bench exercises where the elbow went below the natural "T" of the body for fear of rotator cuff problems... Though i assume his cuff is well conditioned and his sets always have proper form

  • Thats y he's a beast.Need proof that he's a top5 qb ever!?His team wit da same personnel and no Manning is pure TRASH!!Gotta love Brady too,but the Hoodie got a system that can make any qb look like a stud, just look at Matt Cassell. In NE stud,in KC dead weight..I'll take Peyton over anybody, even at 70%.I heard Colts might go after Luck in the draft..Come on to Oakland,we got a spot for ya..Campbell showin out so far, but he aint no Manning!

  • @52xxBeast

    U mad.

  • @52xxBeast what are you even basing that off of? I'd love to hear this. Do you have any evidence behind your claim or are you just talking out of your ass? Because I'd guess the latter.

  • @52xxBeast 4 time mvp, yeah hes a pussy alright ; )

  • @52xxBeast well that pussy will be laughing at u all the way to the bank, and im a Jags fan btw

  • nice spotter lol.....................

  • he lifts 90 lbs and gets paid 90 million

  • @rudeboy9212 O yea thats exactly why he gets paid...

  • @rudeboy9212 he also throws for 50,000 yards and is about to become the 3rd member of the 400 td club, coming from a jags fan

  • @rudeboy9212 Ehhh i think he gets paid for dominating defenses hahaha

    From an oakland fan =)

  • Momentimum?? -____- haha fresh prince anyone?

  • lol i didnt know peyton even knew where the weight room was

  • 90s? Really? Better than the average guy walking down the street, but certainly not impressive in the world of bodybuilding and power lifting. 90s are impressive for high school kids, but not professional athletes.

  • @Danger555 Shoot, I'm just now getting out of high school and I'll use 100's for sets of 12 and the only reason I don't go higher is because we don't have any heavier dumbbells in our high school lol

  • @hukanoobi32

Good job on your weightlifting, and keep it up. Make sure that you are coming down all the way so that the dumbell touches the outside of your chest on the downward movement, as long as you don't have shoulder pain. So many people load up the weight or grab heavy dumbbells, only to perform partial reps. Keep up the weight lifting, and remember that form is more important than weight.

  • Before you try to blame him like "Isnt he able to puch more" you should try to come on his level.

  • Peyton Hillis and Clay Matthews now? :)

  • peyton manning works out?

  • 90s.. dang pretty good Peyton.

  • PIMP

  • RESPECT

  • Tim Tebow benched 480?? No fuckin way!

  • @Met666 It's not that surprising honestly. He's a hard worker, not a pretty boy contrary to popular beliefs.

  • CHECK OUT NFLDRAFT2013 VIDS THANKS..

  • My cousin fucked him up during a pick up game in middle school.

  • @kilox10001 um lies?

  • @kilox10001 I doubt that, a 600lb raw bench is quite rare. 500 is more believable.

  • @Met666 I believe Larry Allen has an official 600 lbs bench press and an unofficial 700 lbs bench press. Ray Lewis probably does around 505 lbs? He's much stronger than Tim Tebow who does 480 lbs.

  • Oh and guys.... that IS NOT PEYTON MANNING in that video, its the dude talking... watch it again...

  • @0710Ang No, you watch again at :17 thats peyton

  • @0710Ang No thats Peyton bro.

  • Manning actually bench presses 350 lbs. That's his max. Surprising, no?

  • @shiron236 thats pretty sweet especially for a quarterback

  • @TheOmd123d I know! Tim Tebow actually did 480 lbs, but you would never expect Peyton Manning to do something like that. It's unbelievable how even the weakest football player on the gridiron is much stronger than the average man.

  • @shiron236

I read an article with Tennessee's strength coach and he said that Manning could bench over 400 in college

  • @ludehead Really? Hmm, I have to check that out. Mail me the link?

  • @shiron236 That makes me wonder how much JaMarcus Russell can bench then...

  • @shiron236 he can really bench 350? very suprising.

  • i hate tom brady but i have to admit i think hes better than peyton. look at this year peyton sucked when he had lost his recivers tom flourished when randy left and freaking reggie wayne>wes welker

  • @melosher uhhh hey dude... how exactly did he suck??? look at the stats, he threw for 4700 yards and completed 450 passes.... I wanna know HOW in the heck that sucks???

  • His hands are worth 20million dollars the personal trainer wont even allow him to lift the weight up on his own before he breaks them. lol

  • the 12 guys that dislike this cant lift this

  • @velleboy0987654321 Well, I cant lift it. lol. I didnt dislike it, though.

  • hands down worst form

  • i found this video from a related videon on a larry allen 700lbs bench press. yea i'm not really that impressed peyton

  • wow he right arm is strong

  • dumbbell bench press also strengthens the stabilizing muscles in and around the upper pectorals and front deltoid muscle.

  • @bsufrank, you must be kidding.... why would NFL players lift weights... i have no idea...maybe cause it's the god damn NFL... this isn't flag football you pussy...now go back to exercising with your stretch bands some more nancy boy...oh and whenever you find your balls pick up some weights and work out... but if you start sweating or get sore you should stop cause people might mistake you for a man instead of the little girl you really are.

  • Peyton Manning works out? lol.

  • weak bitch

  • @skylinelover08 FUCK U MOTHERFUKER

  • Philip Rivers is better

  • @charger619c DREW BRESS lS BETTER THAN PHILIP RIVERS. WONDER IF THOSE ARE 60LBS DUMBELLS?

  • @NaHTaTaE I wonder who drew bress is? i know a guy named drew brees but all he does is throw picks. rivers is going to break the 25 year old record of most passing yards in a season with a bunch of no name recievers.

  • @charger619c HOW CAN RlVERS lS BETTER THAN DREW BREES.? LOOK AT THE DIVISION STANDING, S.D. IS 4-5 AND N.O. lS 6-3. ALSO DREW BREES WAS THE SUPERBALL CHAMP LAST SEASON? WAKE UP MY NlGGAH. .

  • @NaHTaTaE you the team record decides if a Qb is good?

  • @beastlybeast62696 QB IS GOOD IF HE CAN BENCH PRESS 300LBS OR MORE.

  • @charger619c

Brees is that guy who won the Super Bowl MVP last year, the one that Rivers watched on TV...

  • @charger619c

    at what, chess?

  • first of all he is not getting paid thousands of dollars per workout..., thats just rediculous. second you are a moron as well for agreeing with him. third db bench press until soreness occurs is the most retarded thing i have ever heard of unless one is trying to gain all nonfunctilnal hypertrophy. go back and take an exercise physiology class please

  • haha yuck

  • this trainer is a moron. why the fuck is he having a quarterback bench press. how does that improve performance as a qb. continue until your chest is sore hahahahaha yeah lets train him like a bodybuilder. idiot!

  • @bsufrank to prevent injury.. even though peyton is in the nfl.. bench press is a section they test for in d1

  • @bsufrank I'm pretty sure he isn't a moron and that is why he is getting paid thousands of dollars a workout.. Maybe you should take some notes and someday you can have jealous jackasses commenting on your videos on youtube...

  • @bsufrank i'm pretty sure you don't become a successful NFL quarterback without lifting some weights. dumbass. do you see a bunch of skinny little twigs out there as quarterbacks? no, they'll get snapped in half. you need some strength to withstand hits from NFL linebackers and to throw the football as fast and as far as needed. doing some DB press isn't training him like a bodybuilder, it's a very basic exercise for upper body strength. to be in the NFL, any position, you gotta be strong.

  • @borednessislife brett favre doesnt lift weights or work out. just sayin

  • @Goratory666 i'm pretty sure he works out. he didn't just sit on his coach and eat chips to become the player he is. he worked out, whether it's running, training, lifting weights, going through drills, it's all considered working out. and if you think brett favre never lifted weights, haha, you're hilarious. and on a side note, look at him now. he's an average quarterback, nothing special about him anymore besides breaking his old record for most picks thrown.

  • @Goratory666 alright, i know this was back in the day, but LISTEN TO THE VERY FIRST SENTENCE BRETT FAVRE SAYS!

    watch?v=NfyBYDcRGCk

  • are those 80's? that's not even a lot

  • 80's?!?!?!?!?!? jesus christ! I know hes nfl but still thats tank!

  • @ gankzorzz yeah it matters that he's not super strong with him being a quarterback and the best in the world actually.

  • lol assisted 80flat dumbbell so bad lol

  • @gankzorzz guess he's just horrible. he's never gonna make it in the NFL only benching that.....that's soo bad.

  • @gankzorzz still makes enough fuck your sister and buy your life

  • why does he go down to over 90 degrees?

  • I liked that they said "going down slow" and that they needed slow motion to show it :P

  • @singinlikeanangel it's sick but it feels oh so right...

  • payton comes to my school sometimes

  • How many lbs was he benching?

  • @lebbeus It looked like each dumbbell was 80lbs

  • Dude.... Fucking hardworker

  • Continue until chest is sore? Horrible advice.

  • Porn is the word or god if you count in set of 3 you will see the numbers will add up to 9. you child do not know anything about the truth or word to please I do not want you to criticize me. Thank you.

  • Your 'bro' isn't even a good enough human being to even look at Peyton, so who cares what he lifts!? Bet he isn't strong enough to pick up Peyton's ridiculous pay slip from being the best QB in the history of american football, is he!?

And 'San-chise' or whatever is dumb nickname is, are you serious!?

  • Comment removed

  • In regard to a pro QB wrecking his rotator cuffs... congenital laxity comes to mind...

  • Mark Sanchez is so much better then Payton Manning. sorry

  • @porn3307 wow, kys....

  • @porn3307 LOL wut?

  • @porn3307 your stupidy is uncomprehenadble.

  • @porn3307 I often try to prevent myself from getting into an argument over the internet, but your statement is just flat out stupid. Tell me just one reason as to why you think that a 2nd year player, Mark, is better than Peyton? No disrespect to Mark.

  • pei bet brady cant do that

  • go peyton!!

  • I think I got a little wet...

  • @lpycb42 Enjoy : )

  • peyton manning

they make some ugly white people

  • im surprised he goes that low. that can usually wreck your rotater cuffs

  • @fallout3hero yeah i agree...90 degrees is all you need. anything more is just asking to damage your shoulders. i guess with that pussy weight he's using, it won't be a problem.

  • Dude that's so lame weight for a pro. My bro is semi pro and weighs 190 and does 100's for 12 or so reps.

  • Fact : this guy is better then your bro

  • @greggamer418Ok big fuckin deal your brother's chest is stronger lol Peyton Manning is a QB his workouts are not geared for him to have a massive chest and maxium strenght in the pecs

  • @greggamer418

Has your bro made 50 million dollars....didn't think so

  • lol peyton has more talent in 1 pinky toe than your bro has.

  • Is your "Bro" about to become the highest paid player in NFL History? Didn't think so. Is your Bro a Super Bowl MVP? Didn't think so. Does your bro have 4 MVP's (And NFL record) didn't think so. Peyton owns you bro

  • that's hot ! ;)

but he's so tiny compared to the other players on the team - it's adorable ! :D

    but he's an amazing QB.

  • Manning's puttin' 'em up!

  • Don't like payton manning but great tips!

  • First of all you guys have no idea what type of workout he had already done before this was filmed. He could have already been at it for an hour, and was reaching muscle fatigue. Just because he's only doing it with 80's, doesn't mean he couldn't walk into the gym fresh and do it with a lot more weight.

  • For 99% of adult males an 80 pound dumbbell is frikkin heavy when using proper form, so shut up.

  • seminoles

Well remember he is a qb, he doesnt need to bulk up with extra weight, he needs that range of motion when he throws...

You should see him do a shoulder press!

  • @ chefawkes

Well I figured since hes a professional athlete and weighs 230 lbs, he'd be a little stronger. I mean in all seriousness I do more than 80's, and I'm not strong by any means. But it doesn't matter because I play semi pro football just for fun, and Peyton Manning is PEYTON MANNING.

  • 80's are perfect mid-range weight for a strong adult male. From my experience only juicers and hugers rep those 120's.

  • wrong and dumb as fuck..... maybe you´ve just never seen guys who are able to.

  • I'll just say it all again exactly as previously stated because I'm 100% correct.

Here goes. Dial in, put on that thinkin cap, here we go. 80 pound dumbbells are ideal mid-range weight for most strong males. True or false? 99% of the time, only juicers and giant dudes can rep with the 120's. True or false? Take these questions to any gym and the answers will match mine every time.

I can rep 120's for 3-4 reps. So I have first-hand knowledge of what it's like.

  • i bet you are a liar and talking shit or you are just working out in a gym with only weak members.you dont seem to know what you are talking about. how can you say its a ideal mid range for most strong males? "strength" aint related to a number, so you just cant say its a ideal mid range for "strong" males. and to say "only juicers can bla bla bla" is a typical thing for guys who have no idea what they are talking about and blame everyone who´s stronger than themselves

  • I'm a super intelligent fitness guru that everyone comes to for in-depth nutritional insight. I'm talking statistics. Are you familiar with the field of statistics? Staistically, an 80 pound dumbbell is moderately heavy for the average 180-220 pound weight lifter. Very few 220 pound recreational lifters can rep 120 pound dumbbells for 10 reps. Everyone on the planet would agree with that.

  • omg xD that comment said it all....stop fooling yourself!

  • You didn't address any items from my statement which means you understand you have been defeated. Good day.

  • @AliBoulalaSTP

Why do I get the feeling this guy is 15 years old?

  • @

    tigerman963

absolutely xD. he´s not even worth to argue with. but hey...thats youtube :-/

  • cool and your a fucking no body.

  • @SeminolesFB44

He really doesnt need to throw up too much weight. it could actually hinder his ability in throwing the football.. his workouts His weight lifting is probably to keep his strength up and prevent injury. It wouldn't do much for him to bulk up.

  • @XCFightTeam Yep, that's probably a max out set to failure, Tim Tebow also did heavy weight while benching, got up to almost 400 pounds and then his trainers forced him to stop going so heavy because of that reason

  • @XCFightTeam It's not actually that it would hinder his performance (completely false), but it's unnecessary. He's Peyton Manning. Why risk any sort of injury to the multi-million dollar arm by pushing him in the gym. From a trainer's perspective, the risk is much higher than the reward. You're completely right about his lifting goals, I would assume.

  • @SeminolesFB44

he's a quarterback. what did you expect? they are usually the weakest guys on the field at any given time.

  • .heaviest ive ever done on the db press were 95's

  • @wanky448 whats ur max on barbell bench press?

  • my max on flat was 315 and 285 incline 270 decline...you?

  • my dumbell max is 100's. but for some reason my max on flat was 240 my max on incline is 200 and my max on decline is around 250. i feel like i should be able to do more since i can do 100 lb dumbells but idk

  • You should be doing more on decline.

  • yeah i know....just something i never really worked on kinda like squats lol

  • heaviest i have done on seated overhead press was 95's but that was with a back on the bench. our gym doesnt have dbs any higher than that so i have never been able to build up higher than that so i dont really use dumbbells anymore unless it is towards the end of my workout where my muscle is already tired and those lighter weights feel a littler heavier by then

  • why is everybody talking about brady compared to manning. When its all said and done...WHO yore through the record books, and STILL is,in our Era???MANNING DUMB FUCKS

  • manning:1 superbowl

    brady: 3 superbowls

  • Bradshaw: 4

I think that proves you don't have to be a great QB to win...just have an amazing team like Brady had.

  • we were talking about manning tho. and bradshaw was great too. its just that ur not even aknowledgin the fact that brady might be good.

  • I never said Brady wasn't good, he reminds me of Joe Montana everytime he takes a snap. I just like Manning better because I think he has more character, is more accurate, and is smarter than any other quarterback in the league.

  • well u implied that brady only won cuz he was on a good team

  • I am saying that, but all good quarterbacks need a good team to win three superbowls. Montana couldn't do it himself either.

  • fair enough.

  • manning MVPs 2

    Brady 0

  • first of all brady has one mvp for 2007 season. and unless ur fucking egotistical, i would rather have the ring than the mvp

  • plus he has 3 superbowl mvp's

  • 2....one was for vinatieri :P

  • nope... i ment 2 for brady one for deion branch (05 vs eagles)... we both suck ha

  • hahahaha :P xD

  • @MeestaKeefGirly In all reality he should only have 1 at the most... those first 2 were team wins, the D kept the score very low. The offense drive the feild, and Vinitary kicked last min FG's. By no means did Brady dominate any of those games. It's alot like how Eli Manning got his SB MVP title =)

  • @ryantimmins99 well peyton manning has a ring and mvp so shhhhhhhhhhh

  • @HomelessGuyAtBestBuy brady has 3 rings. maybe another this year. and he pretty much locked down an second mvp. (see 2007)

  • @ryantimmins99 so? you were talking like peyton doesnt have a ring and you are all over bradys nuttsack

  • @HomelessGuyAtBestBuy listen i said that brady has three. which if u do the math, is better than one. that being said i have nothing but respect for manning and think he is easily one of the best of all time.

  • @ryantimmins99 wow 3 is better than one i didnt know that, so i guess me blugging your moms mouth 3 times with my cock is better than the 1 time i did. and i respect brady but we all know manning is better

  • @HomelessGuyAtBestBuy hes better, says who? let me have my opinion u can ahv eurs. btw, really solid chirp with blugging my mom. really relevant to our argument.

  • @ryantimmins99 hey me plugging your moms mouth was relevant because it helped me understand 3 is better than 1 like you said earlier....and pretty much everybody says manning is better except some patriot fans

  • 3 mvp's that is

  • manning has 3 MVP's

  • correction...

    4 :)

  • @ryantimmins99

Did they play alone against the other team?? Or they had teammates?? Football is a team sport. You can't win alone.

  • @ryantimmins99 Trent

    Trent Dilffer:1 Superbowl

    Dan Marino:0 Superbowls

Football is a team sport bud!!!

  • Peyton doesnt really look muscular

    most qbs have small arms

    except McNabb

  • get the spotter out of the way and let the boy press!! only touch the bar/dumbell if they have stopped moving or moving in wrong direction!

  • You can't risk injury on peyton manning. You gotta take all the precautions.

  • Looks like 20 billion dollar legs to me

  • h tt p: // working out life style . blog spot. com

  • looking at peyton's legs, he looks like he would have a pretty high squat max.
