I saw mythbusters prooving that CO2 is responsible for global warming... They failed to notice that increasing amount of CO2 in the air doesn't cause the air to warm up more than some 1 degree.

Big minus from me. Although I like their shows.

actually IPCC talks about maximum 6 degrees in 100 years. Al Gore making tons of money out of his global warming guilt tax business was showing much more catastrophic data in his (sentenced to be false by English judge) powerpoint slide show.

Last few years are cooler than predicted by UN "scientists" (IPCC), so no sweat ;-)

Basically you can't predict shit accurately, it's such a huge and complex system, there are other effects such as solar cycles, global dimming, volcanic eruptions, etc. No way you can pin down the exact number of degrees the earth will warm in 100 years. There is only the consensus that it is getting warmer.

This is one of the many examples of why the "elite" types have been wrong about television. The number of interesting, educational options for young people is quite vast.
